1, WBA Mandatory defence Vs Oleksandr Povetkin at Wembley in front of 90,000 people 2, Rematch with newly crowned WBC Heavyweight Champion Dominic Breazeale at Wembley on April 13th at Wembley in front of 102,000 people
I can see three possible scenarios. 1. Povetkin, Schwarz, Wilder 2. Povetkin, Miller (in the US), Wilder 3. Povetkin, Whyte (if he beats Parker), Wilder All three leading to Wilder and it will happen for sure. They are not wasting such a payday, they hyping the fight up now and it will happen between April / September 2019. I am sure AJ will take on Schwarz soon if he stays undefeated. Schwarz is a Top 5 WBO HW and a walk in the park opponent to improve the record.
True words by Breazeale although i do not think he has a real chance vs the BumSquadBeyonce. If Breazeale gets caught once by those windmills the thing is over before it has started.
I dissagree, Breazeale has far better boxing skills than Wilder and can match his reach so I fully expect him to box and move, offering very few opportunities for Wilder to sling that right hand bomb. Even if Wilder lands Breazeale has a very good chin and will take the shot even if it means climbing off the canvass. If Wilder can’t get to him, I honestly think Breazeale can KO a tired and marked up Wilder in the 10th round. This is personal for Breazeale and he won’t come in unprepared, he’ll be ready, fit, sharp and with a strong game plan.
Breazeale has an outside chance. Will come down to how he handles Wilder's power, because he's definitely getting hit hard as he's easy to hit. But if he can do what he did vs Mansour and Ugonoh and ride the storm and make a fight of it, then he could shock Wilder. But I suspect after some success Breazeale will walk into enough big shots that even his chin crumbles, like it did vs Joshua and he is stopped late.
I like Breazele but he's a massive target & Wilder has a shot gun for right hand & too mobile for Bearzeale
I think you massively overrate Breazeale and his defense. You are writing those things as Breazeale is nearly impossible to hit by a guy who has the exact same height but a small advantage in terms of reach. Breazeale was knocked down by 43yo Amir Mansour who is 6'1 so i doubt he is as hard to hit as you might think. I also think it was a right jab that sent Breazeale down in that fight. Ugonoh also knocked him down. Breazeale was knocked down three times in his last four fights. Not a good sign tbh going down that often while you raising the quality of your opponents. In general i agree that Wilder will have some problems with Breazeales height as he is one of the biggest opponents he has faced yet and Washington who is also very tall jabbed Wilders head off but sooner or later he get caught for sure. And i think Wilder showed he has a granit chin in his last fight. This might end in the same result as the Washington fight. It's competitive for a couple of rounds while Breazeale outboxing the limited Wilder who hasn't the skillset to outbox such a big opponent but after Breazeale getting caught once it's over. I doubt Breazeale gonna hurt Wilder like Ortiz did, Breazeale will be definitely much more cautious, i mean Wilder vs Ortiz was a slugfest. Brutal war. That's not the style Breazeale is gonna bring into the ring. He will try to outbox Wilder, Wilder will gonna go wild at some point and then the windmill will do the rest. Sad but true. I would love to see getting Wilders head punched off but it won't happen.
I don’t think for one minute that Breazeale will be quite so gung ho against Wilder as he was against Ugonoh where he just got into a gunslinging competition. I think Breazeale will Box much smarter and will be harder to hit. Wilder has excellent speed but he’s a terrible judge of distance which will give Breazeale the advantage in reach. Previous Wilder victims have had to move well within Wilders reach just to get close enough to unload meaning Wilders lack of ability to judge distance hasn’t been over exposed. It has though been very evident in fights against Szpilka, Washington, Ortiz and even Duhaupas who all exposed Wilders lack of footwork and distance judgement. Breazeale will land shots and as we’ve seen he’s not without power himself, Wilder doesn’t have the best punch resistance and if he gets hit he doesn’t know how to protect himself. We’ve all seen how he goes backwards in a straight line with his arms flailing all over the place, that’s meat and drink to a decent boxer which Breazeale is. Finally, you mention the wars that Breazeales been in and yes he may well catch a Wilder right and get stopped, those wars show how often he gets hit but. Those wars are also great experience to have, they’re great learning fights and let’s not forget that Joshua apart, Breazeale won all those wars.
I like Breazeale and he is tough and has a lot of heart. He is a good nice guy for sure. He is just to damn easy to hit and to slow. Just like he never really caught easy to hit Joshua. He is just to damn slow to hit Wilder. But he always shows up to fight I will give him that. When he fought Joshua is was like Joshua was hitting the heavybag .He could not miss. Breazeale does have a hell of a good chin. But Wilder hits harder than Joshua.
Dominic would accept $15 million in a heartbeat - as would every other HW if they were WBC champ. Only wilder is a ***** and will do everything he can to run and tell his agenda-pushing cultist delusional "fans" that everyone is scared of him and 51-0 is legit against bums - and whats worse is that they lap it up, Youtube has become even more of a cesspool of hate and stupidity thanks to this.
