In terms of pure power, not setting up punches or accuracy and timing, just if you were to measure it on the heavy bag like they do in Rocky with Drago? How would he stack up against the hardest punchers? Say just the straight right hand

    Good, not great.

There are a lot of HW's who hit just as hard. Most of Joshua's power comes from punching in combination, not single shots like a Klitschko or Wilder type. The problem is, when punching in combination Joshua leaves himself exposed.

He's obviously a huge unit and very powerful. I wouldn't say he hits as hard as Wlad but he hits very hard indeed

A solid 7 or maybe 8 given his sheer size. 10 being someone like Foreman or Tyson.
And IMO Wilder´s power is overrated. I mean, its there, and he hits like a truck, but its not on that upper echelon of elite. I have seen plenty of lower tier guys take bombs from him and keep going.

Appears to be up there with guys like Wardley and Dubois.

Say what you want about Joshua… but the guy hits hard as ****. Definitely elite level power. I’ve always said Wlad was a harder hitter but it’s closer between those two than many think. Wlad is a 9.4 on a 1-10 power scale… Joshua is an 8.8 lol

That version of Helenius probably chins Wilder... Was lean and looked to be there to win. Looked like the same version who showed up to fight Kownacki twice and not the flabby disinterested guy who fought someone he was being a bit too buddy buddy with before and after the fight(where have we seen that before with Wilder? hmmmmm?)

He has knocked enough people out to give the impression he hits very hard

Anyone saying otherwise is a twit

    huh?

Are people here suddenly braindead? He clearly had 1 punch KO power.

If Wilder is a 10, Joshua is an 8.

He's in the mix with the biggest punchers of the era...

It's hard to be precise exactly who sits where purely because how much you can show is dictated by level of opponents, style and to some degree the levels of the fighter in question.

Exactly - and he's knocked out some durable guys, at that... It'd be ridiculous to say otherwise.

About this. He clearly can wreck house when he sits on his punches.

His uppercut hit Dillion Whyte so hard with such impact that Whyte still collapses today when ever someone hits him with an uppercut
