But he doesn't deserve a shot at Joshua, it's a short notice fight or nothing for him I'm afraid

Please not Charr. That's like replacing one cheater for another but on a lower level.

Hunter would be OK, and Ortiz seems to be a fan favorite, he's also Wilder's best win.

AJ vs Hunter would help build interest for AJ's day of reckoning with the Usyk God so I could definitely see that one materializing what with Hearn being the shrewd businessman he is and Hunter being the fearless warrior he is.

It's not going to be great but it's 6 weeks out.

This is all on Miller who has caused this mess.

Remember how Dillian's body shots sucked every ounce of life out of AJ for a round or two in their fight?

How about because he is biggest US name on that list, has the most boxing ability and provides WBC ranking.

    As secondary reasons.

Scoring points against anonymous posters will always remain #1

Its funny that Hearn has put backups and contingenices in place in the past but for this US debut he thought **** it we'll be alright.

Like Takam was a short notice replacement and was asked to train just incase.

DAZN have stated they would prefer it to be an American opponent......make of that what you will.

Pulev - The toughest fight out of these names and the fight I'd most like to see. However it's the most unlikely due to Pulev just recently fighting and being a fighter I view as being unlikely to accept a fight on short notice. Also with all the controversy arround him at thr moment I can't see it happening.

Hunter - For me he's the most skilled American HW. This would be the easiest fight to make considering Hunter recently signed for DAZN. What is making the fight less likely is that he's not as of a big name as the other listed fighters.

Ortiz - I think he is overrated considering his resume only has two notable wins which were against Jennings and Hammer. Still i would like AJ to end this bogeyman hype and it would be great if AJ was to deal with ortiz in a more impressive manor than Wilder did.

Kownacki - Would be the perfect opponent for AJ considering his preparation for Miller and how similar the two fighters are in style. Dreadful mismatch though, this guy's idea of defence is to block punches with his face, slower than Miller and went life and death with Charles Martin. Hearn can spin it though as Kownacki has fought and beat two former Wilder opponents (that caused Wilder problems and won numerous rounds against him) in a more convincing and dominating fashion than Wilder did.

Charr - Embarrassing and a waist of time.

Ortiz literally could not avoid a right hand if his life depended on it and I have been telling you all this for a long time now. Watch his fight against Alexander Pov here, Pov literally could not miss with his right as soon as it dawned on him that Ortiz's noggin is a magnet for them. He even dropped Ortiz but the ref chose not to count it.

And here we have him going life and death with Alexander Pov victim Christina Hammer who Pov whooped with ease despite Hammer being in much better shape than he was against Ortiz

Notice how Ortiz's big old noggin is a magnet for right hands in this fight too against a fat Hammer who isn't exactly lightening quick

AJ will crack Ortiz's magnet noggin with more right hands than he throws

Give it to Hunter. Hes taken his bumps and his been on UK tv recently a couple of times against Bakole and Ustinov and looked decent in both. Would give Joshua a few rounds at least which is more than Charr would. American as well so a much easier sell than some o fthe other option
