Haven't heard much about Joshua here recently (apart from him being the next Bruno) so I looked him up on boxrec and he has two fights scheduled in May. Are they both going ahead? I think the kingpin bout will be a good challenge for him, especially since he hasn't gone the distance (or even half the distance) yet.
Yes both are going ahead, May 9th fight is really there for him to get a few rounds and treat it almost like a spar really. May 30th is the main fight for AJ, good test of his stamina and a true gauge of his power, we all know he has power but a lot on here say he hasn't got KO power, if he can stop Johnson then it will suggest otherwise.
I wouldn't be surprised if Joshua gets "injured" and fights only once in May. He's ridiculously hyped when is he going to fight someone with a pulse?
Beachie thanks for your reply. Disaster, one step at a time. Don't think they should rush him too much. Kevin Johnson is better than anyone else he has faced (but still past his prime date), if he gets through that fight comfortably I think he will be ready for a better level of competitionl
beach17 is Matchroom :blabla Anthony Joshua is going to get KOd within his next 5 fights he's not real.
Think the Johnson fight will be good Johnson actually having a proper training camp the first time in about 5 years.
