Fury won a stinker against Wlad, AJ should be afforded the same praise then if it happens.

Not really. The only reason Ruiz is champion is because Joshua lost to him. Ruiz has no other wins against top fighters. Whereas Wlad was champion for years and still dominating the contenders.
Do you see what I mean ? The only reason people will regard a win over Ruiz as a great achievement is because AJ lost to him.
If he'd had just beat Ruiz the first time, that would have been better but no one would have said much about it.

Could be arugued Parker, Ruiz and Povetkin all have better resumes or best career wins than Wilder.

I get what you're saying but majority of the posters in General and British forums are picking Ruiz, saying he's a bad match up and a stylistic nightmare for AJ.
No matter how he wins they're going to have to give him credit.

But I agree in general view of things beating Ruiz is not a great achievement.

I definitely lean towards Ruiz winning again and I will give AJ a lot of credit for winning, for sure.
But whatever he does in the fight I feel his standing has taken a big hit and it will take a few good wins to get back the reputation he had coming into this year.
The flipside, of course, it that Ruiz stands to establish himself fully with a win here as well.

It's a great high stakes fight for both of them.

It may seem like the majority of posters in General and in British forum are picking Ruiz but I think that's just an illusion because we've always seen such an overwhelming majority picking AJ in all his prevous fights (possbly Wlad being an exception).
A poll in general forum a few weeks back had AJ winning by quite a majority, I think.

It appears to me that AJ looks extremely stressed out..even a week out IMO he does not look or act confident , I could be wrong.

Boxing is 80% mental and 20% physical and I just feel that he is simply overwhelmed by the whole thing.....if in fact he is all stressed out from the pressure now he will be in total panic mode once the first punch lands on him.on fight night....he will crumble quicker this time around if that is the case.

IMO, AJ is not a natural fighter but Ruiz is and IMO thi is Ruiz's fight to loose not AJ's to win ......if Ruiz shows up in the same state of mind , physically and mentally like in the first fight its over for AJ .

It is heavyweights and I could be right or could be wrong.

I'm betting on Ruiz to do a quicker job, within 3 rounds.

He’ll be gutted with it being on fight week. Hopefully it’s just a couple of days.
