How does Joshua handle the rahman that knocked out Lewis. Yes Lewis was out of shape for rahman and paid a heavy price. But if Joshua was up against that version and found himself on the end of rahman s best punches, how does he fare iyo?. Would the punches that sent Lewis crashing do that to aj, and if so does he survive? In a nutshell do you see AJ been more capable than Lewis to beat that rahman?
I would say that Lennox beats Rahman 99 times out of 100. What has happened in their 1st fight? 1) Lennox underestimated Rahman and wasn't focused 2) He made stupid mistake and got KO'd The rematch showed the difference between them. So as for AJ chances. As long as AJ doesn't underestimate Rahman and doesn't leave his chin in the air waiting for that bomb, he wins, and convincingly, by KO.
Rahman had a hell of a right hand and heart. When Joshua gets tagged he might stay down. either way id pic the rock even though Joshua should be favored. Rahman KO 5
Lewis definitely came in under trained and over confident. He caught Lewis with some cracking punch s and wondered if Joshua had been in there and possibly hurt, how he does. I think that point rahman and aj get involved in a mini war.
Joshua is one of my fav fighters but at this stage i fear Rahman would ko him. AJ was rocked by Whyte and floored by Klitschko. In a wild shootout Rahman ko Joshua in 7.
The punch that dropped Lewis would drop anyone.Lewis was 35 and ,as you note, not in top shape. It might be that Rahman could have closed the show hard to say.
The punch that dropped him was a corker. When he had the chance rahman could blast. Against Lewis he got the chance. Perhaps any other time Lewis doesn't get some much as rocked. It was Lewis in the right place right time for rahman.
Joshua is close to making me a real believer. He needs 2-3 more fights vs. top ten opponents. I think the punch Wlad hit Joshua with KO's or TKO's Lewis, and he could likely get up from the Rahman punch that floored Lewis for a ten count. I'd pick Joshua to beat Rhaman.
In my opinion, Rahman never lands that punch in 99 of 100 fights vs Lennox. But in that one he landed
Well Joshua shown us he can get up from a kd and come back to win, which unfortunately lennox didn't. So early on we do know that about aj.
Rahman was in the right ring against the right chin on that night. If they had rematchd six times, rahman probably wouldn't have got a sniff of knocking out lennox.
Tough fight at this stage. However, Joshua would be a solid favourite in a couple years when he is prime.
