He's already gone to great lengths to explain how often he is tested. So he is not adverse to defending himself.

However on the TUE issue, he seems to side step it altogether.

It would be better for him to just be upfront about it, because at the moment he's coming across as a someone with something to hide.

 

Of course he is, he confessed FFS! Not denying something isn't admission of guilt. Who has asked him anyway? And no, Miller shouting abuse at the press conference doesn't count. If someone credible asked him straight and he refused to answer, then you might have something. Calling him "the fool" just reveals your bias.

I can only assume Joshua hasn't said 'I have' or 'I haven't' had a TUE as whatever he says people will start digging even more. His name is more closely associated with TUE and PEDS in the media. People will start saying there is no smoke without fire. All this would happen whether he's on peds or not.

Hearn has sat him down and said 'keep quiet, it'll blow over and your brand will be untouched'.

Recognizing and answering questions shouted at him by Miller and Whyte will open a pandoras box for Joshua.

 

Of course his brand is still booming and will do for a long time until he starts losing or if he does something really terrible.

What I mean is that his reputation as a credible clean athlete is starting to take a hit.

And Joshua refraining to give direct answers to questions but instead retelling stories about how many times he gets tested is doing him no favours at all.

And this idea of not adding fuel to the fire by not providing an answer one way or another is ridiculous.

If someone accused you of being a ********** would you pause , laugh it off before answering back along the lines of " Well if you go back to 2015 look how many older women I dated. I've dated women my own age so many times I lost count its ridiculous"?

People would rightly assume you are dodgy. That is how Joshua is dealing with the question when asked about his steroid use.

Yes that was hilarious, I covered a thread about that with the video.

No one prompted or mentioned to him anything about steroids and there were no strong rumours suggesting he was a cheat at the time.

Yet he took it upon to grab the Mic and stress that everything was done to honest hard work and nothing to do with steroids lol.

 

Those referencing Parker do realise he retracted those steroid accusations on AJ don't they? He admitted it was said in the heat of the moment with no justification for it, and didn't believe AJ was juicing.

AJ also said "I know my records are clean, that's why I don't bite at it." Maybe that's why he's not giving any talk of this the time of day, especially when those coming out with it (Miller & Whyte) are proven PED cheats.

That's not say he's not on roids BTW, but just because he's not filing lawsuits left, right and centre at the accusers does not remotely constitute having something to hide.
