According to various trainers/coaches who have discussed the true rate of muscle growth among clients, and studies that have looked upon this topic as well, and years of first hand experience and observation by coaches through testimonials:

Average Natural MAN: between 0.25 and 0.5 pounds of muscle per week (or about 1-2 pounds of muscle gained per month

Now we know that Joshua is not average, he is well above average genetically. so take the above figures and add 20%

Someone like Joshua can hope to gain between 0.3 and 0.6 pounds of muscle per week (or about 1.2 - 2.4 pounds of muscle gained per month.

Or upto about 28.8 pounds in a YEAR.

What did Joshua SUPPOSEDLY achieve? 20 Lbs.

This means 20/28.8 = Joshua achieved 70% of Potential Muscle gain in a year according to the science.

    Seems modest/acceptable to me!

I of course am very average and barely gain much muscle per year, admittedly I do slack in my training as I am not a professional like Joshua, and I don't have a cook, or resources, or training facilities like Joshua and personal trainers.

But twice is enough before each fight, and he's been pro for 6 years.

That's a lot of time to **** up, if you were trying to time steroid cycles around doping tests... you just wouldn't risk it at all. Something would have shown up by now for sure.

You are missing the plot. If you have a TUE you never get caught and no one would ever know because its hidden behind medical records.

    What's hidden behind medical records?

Anthony has a physical examination for doping twice before each fight.

They physically (Chisora pun) test Joshua's internal system for traces of steroids/doping agents.

    What could possibly hide that?

Seriously? Are you just agnostic to this whole approach? Maybe you should stop posting if all you are going to do is deny deny deny.

    Deny what exactly?

This all feels like one big agenda driven conspiracy theory.

I've laid out the facts on muscle growth per year and shutdown the 20 lbs of muscle argument.

Now as for active doping by Joshua, he's signed up for doping tests twice before each fight . If you have a TUE exemption, it's exempted for a clinicial reason, or subtance that you might be taking for medical reasons, the TUE exemption is not going to fly with doping regulatory boards if it ain't legit...

So you are going so far as to cliam Joshua is secretly taking STEROIDS, that are actually being taken for MEDICAL reasons because they are exempted by a TUE.

And so he gets tested, the steroids show up, and then he shows the people his TUE and they are like OHHHHHH no problem, enjoy those medical prescription steroids that can;t possibly be sports performance related.

This is so wonderfully misinformed! It's HARDER to gain pure muscle when you're already a muscle-bound professional boxer, at the rate he did.

Either way, it's not the point. The point he has potentially had Testosterone Replacement Therapy after the Olympics for a reason....

I can see you writing that last part jokingly but that is basically it. And you'd never know because that **** is hidden behind closed doors. A TUE can actually and does prescribe steroids in many cases. Just ask Team Sky about the truck loads of Triamcynolone or Serena about the years of corticosteroids she's been abusing? Cannot wait to read more of your denials. Like it most be really hard to get a TUE right?

Pro tip, modern doping is not about beating the tests. It's about getting TUE's and avoiding the whole testing altogether. Does anyone think the system is working? Ask Fluid how he was able to get cleared for using an IV in his own ****ing home the night before a fight? How does **** like that happen when no one is cheating?

"This is so wonderfully misinformed! It's HARDER to gain pure muscle when you're already a muscle-bound professional boxer."

Errrr says who? You? He was a young chap, circumstances, genetics, environment there are a trillion factors that determine whether he could or couldn't naturally, and you (I bet my bottom dollar) are not a doctor or a scientist to claim such things.

I got my information from science bro. I am merely referencing the scientific community, you are bullshitting the forum.

"Either way, it's not the point. The point he has potentially had Testosterone Replacement Therapy after the Olympics for a reason..."

Like I said, conspiracy theory, not saying it is impossible, but implausible... and to be frank. Who the **** cares. It was 6 years ago. 8 years ago he was in arrested for drugs.

Things change, life moves on, he's been tested for 6 years, he's legit.

You keep grabbing on to that history, maybe we can solve some unsolved Bermuda mysteries too.

Not as much as I love the "20 pounds of muscle" argument.

LMAO - how the **** do you measure that.

Sneak in to AJ's bedroom in Watford on 01/03/2012 and use a pair of calipers and spring scale to weigh Joshua while he was sleeping and measure his fat level.

Then do it all again on 01/09/2013

OR do you just go on the eye test to say yeah he put on 20 lbs of PURE muscle and guess the fat level change

    GTFOH man.

This illogical chaos hurts my fine tuned mind.
