Absolutely mate and he remains a fringe pudding after last night - he simply cannot take any punch like Wlad and only a matter of time before he faces the roof and hears 10 out

So the fight wasn’t a risk for Joshua?

What an opportunity for Eh day and Anthony Fury-Klitschko at the post fight ring interview to hold the Saudi's to account for their disgraceful human rights and request change - the brown ring licking of the Saudi Royals was an insult to all killed/maimed under this regime.

I’m sure everyone will be queuing up to fight Ruiz then.

It’s easy to say he should’ve won even more easily with hindsight. But credit where it’s due.

When we look back on Joshua’s career I don’t think Ruiz will be one of the opponents we look back on and think wow. It’ll be seen as the blip it turns out it was. Much like Lewis’ losses to McCall and Rahman. Ruiz is a good fighter but is clearly going to lack the discipline to make any more of a dent in the division and prove his victory wasn’t a fluke.

Don’t think it fair to criticise AJ for not beating him more easily. Rightly, it doesn’t make him an ATG but let’s consider those questions at the end of his career. Ruiz is tough even if he is a lazy slob. AJ won every round for me...

At the moment, the only genuine test he has faced is Old Wlad - the rest were puddings.

His legacy is rank rotten so far and I remain to be proved wrong if he gets in with Wilder, Fury, Usyk, Dubois, Joyce and Bakole.

Fringe Pudding level who has not dethroned a genuine World Champion in the ring - only puddings Martin and Ruiz

Brilliant performance from AJ, especially considering the pressure he was under. Boxed really well. Now we can get back to everyone’s favourite topic, AJ/Wilder purse splits...

If Joshua is a mediocre champion at best what on earth does that say for the rest? Since he became a champion in early 2015 Wilder has beaten Molina and Breazeale (both stopped by Joshua as well), Ortiz twice, Stiverne again, Arreola, Szpilka, Washington and Duhaupas.

Since he became a champion Fury has beaten absolutely nobody of note in four years. His best win in four years is Otto Wallin.

Joshua’s CV absolutely destroys both of them.
