I want to see that fight of course but i can see why hearn is protecting his fighter from Haye cause they know what he can do to joshua....

Other than the haye fight i can see hearn matching him up with whoever.. with everbody but not haye.
Cause the risk with haye is when he knocks you out you wont comeback the same

At the moment the fight doesn't make sense. Haye may still be a big name but he still has a lot to prove and is an unknown quantity. Joshua can still make good money without taking on a risky opponent like Haye but if Haye can prove he is a genuine contender again the potential match up would be financially very rewarding so it makes sense to wait.

It's too early for Joshua. He needs more tough fights like Whyte before taking on Haye. Hearn is doing the right thing.

Joshua has more chance beating any of the top 10 IBF rated boxers than Haye. And that's his next target - a title belt.

Then when he has the belt, if Haye has worked himself up, then Joshua can dictate turns and get a bigger pay day since he'd be the champ. Makes total sense.

If I were Eddie Hearns, I'd do the same thing. David Haye would obliterate Anthony Joshua.

Haye needs to face Martin to have some value, nobody wants to fight a guy who pulls out of fights & does those games.

Haye must try to land a fight with Martin, either get Bombed out or score an Upset & use the belt to get big fights...Because no one worthy will deal with Haye without having something to get out of it. It surely not $ cause Haye lost his crowd

It's a huge money and huge PPV fight in the UK and Hearn is always talking about making huge fights so to dismiss this potential match up for maybe 12-18 months tells me Hearn don't believe AJ wins right now.

Or Hearn might be talking it down hoping there is a British fight fan reaction and he ends up getting hounded on Twitter and then "gives the public what they demanded".
