AJ deserves HUGE respect and he has had a big impact on the British boxing scene in the last 10 years.
Too many flaws to be as good as he was billed. Constantly been talking about being a warrior etc but actually looks scared to fight/get hit. Jaw a massive weakness. He ends up falling apart much like bruno did. Only difference being....joshua,s mind stays sharp enough to at least stay in a fight even if everything else neglects him as opposed to bruno who,s mind would shut down completely. Its over for aj tho. He,s been kidding himself on these last few years. He looks like a man only fighting for other peoples expectations of him rather than him actually wanting to fight. Unbelievable performance from dubois. Did not let up. Backed himself and looks a proper handful. Hope he keeps don charles because charles has done amazing with him. Joshua needs to stop now tho. Hes going to end up getting seriously hurt. Mentally finished at the top level. I dont think he ever had the mentality for the top level in the first place tbh. Just his athletic ability/strength/power kept him up there much like amir khans speed of hand until it gets tested for it to fall apart. Fair play for continuing to fight on. Getting dangerous tho. If hearn etc had any decency its time to talk him into retirement.
He fleeced the public in conjunction with Hearn mate. Vacant belt specialist and defences against old and/or small men. Not an elite trait in his skillset and never beat any top fighter in the ring under 40 years of age. Hearn and him made a fortune off the back of fleecing the mug public into thinking he was the next Ali. He was never much better than your Matt Skelton types in the past
Never really liked him but can’t fault his professionalism…he’s made a few dembele dollars and others off his back
Hearn had a bigger impact. Joshua was moulded, guided, and used as a puppet to sell a narrative to the fickle sports fan
Parker struggled to throw a punch as he had just come off surgery to both elbows and was nowhere near 100% fit to fight...That's why Hearn desperately wanted the fight
After wins vs 3 binmen & an mma guy, the public were well back onboard the AJ train. It sounds crazy to say now, but dont be surprised if the train returns once more. All it takes is another string of wins against Z level opposition. Youre only as good as your last fight in boxing
I respect that mate. I know you don't like Joshua but shows you're a real man by not laughing at him etc. There's been boxers I dislike but I don't go running my mouth talking crap after they been knocked out.
4 defeats. Can't remember a single ATG boxer who lost 4 fights in a row during their prime or closed to their prime years.
Cannot remember an ATG who never beat a top level opponent in his career, never dethroned a genuine World Champion in the ring and has been heavily odds on for every fight apart from the Usyk rematch. The mugs have been sold a huge pup. Was only a matter of time when his limitations were exposed.
People say sparring doesn't matter Dubois looked insanely confident and walked AJ down from the opening bell and cannoned through him with no hesitation he probably thought "I already hurt this guy badly when I was 18, now he's got no chance."
