You probably forgot to tell that one of the conditions for him to take the fight against Bivol was that his contract with Matchroom would be extended and Buatsi didn´t want that.

He’s gone from a platform that had fights with Bivol, Smith and Canelo as well as zurdo in big paydays and fights to fight against Azeez on Sky because apparently that fight would bring more eyeballs. He’s had a shocker and when he gets less to fight Bivol in 18 months time as a mando he’s going to even worse off.
The offer from Matchroom was the bigger financial package as it contained £1.5m purse to fight Bivol which Sky's does not have. But one Platform guaranteed him a PPV fight the other did not guarantee it
The idea that fighting on sky automatically will give him major exposure is kinda silly. The most important thing is live fights. The wrong opponents will not see huge exposure as that's not how boxing on sky works. The ratings fluctuate depending on the fights
Just wants paid hight to fight absolutely nobody's. Waste of a career and clearly isn't as good as thinks he is or you would want win world titles take on best etc he has shown no willingness whatsoever in doing that
Its a little bit more nuanced than that though isnt it, that was EH offer to keep him if he believes he can get the same fights or a title shot with BOXXER for more money why wouldnt he take it ?

F me this kid can spout some **** tbh, the bottom line is he doesnt want the tough fights. These young fighters trying to adopt the Mayweather strategy, when they havent earned it. Mayweather fough through a few wars early on and got himself in a postion to have freedom and choices later on in his career. These kids want to do it from the start! Buatsi promised alot but utimately has wasted his career.
