Tbf, Sky have a partnership with Top Rank and they show Beterbiev's fights.
It's a fairly straight forward route to Beterbiev from boxxer and he's got the contract he wanted, not being tied down to the stipulations he mentioned that Matchroom were imposing.

 

We don't know if he still would've been tied down had he lost though. Hearn had ample to time to get him meaningful fights and hasn't delivered. Can't blame Buatsi for losing faith.
If he was to lose to Bivol and was tied down to Matchroom, his career would've taken a massive nosedive

Do you have a link for that? Hearn said it was natural to tie him down as they would've been investing 1.25mil and would require a commitment. Didn't mention anything about Buatsi being free to leave had he lost. Unless I missed it.

Exactly this. Maybe JB was more concerned with not being tied down to big fights/money after losing rather than being tied down to this , that and the other after winning , like he is making out was the case.
