Is there any proof of this poor stamina you mention or are you guessing he has based on his build?

Why can't he have average stamina why are you assuming it's poor?

This is no clear indication either but Yarde was a talented athlete and also footballer..maybe that may help him?

And as for fundamentals, he doesn't look short of skills to most reasonable analysers- can you explain where you think he is lacking?

And finally Warren is a promoter- of course he's going to be pushing his name out there the same as Eddie would be doing.

I haven't seen him saying anything about Yarde being ready for Kovalev etc though ?? Infact he has been quite clear that he is still inexperienced and needs work.

In his last fight against a non punching past his best 39 year old he was blowing out his arse after 3 rounds.

Warren has said he's already top 5 in world and not far from mandatory position.

What skills does he lack ? To name a few of the top of my head

A substandard shoulder roll that leaves him exposed within punching reach.

    Poor footwork

    Poor punch variety

    Bad defence.

Loads up far to often and send A too many shots with a telegraph.

For a guy not far of a World Title shot he has so many weaknesses it's
Not true. It's totally understandable he has so much to learn as very inexperienced but when your team keep saying your well beyond British level already you get judged differently.

His defence is terrible. He was getting collared by a C (at best) level fighter. Ultimately his power will see him through against the majority of this shite. I want to see him in with a boxer, not someone who will necessarily knock him out. Someone who will make him work, cut off the ring, make him think and we will see what Yarde is about.

Yarde is currently ranked no 3 in the WBO rankings- if you don’t like that email the organisation, buts that’s the facts of the matter so there’s no point blaming Warren if he points that out.

As I mentioned however, the few times anybody has mentioned Kovalev or any other monsters at the weight to Frank he has dismissed it as Miles to early which of course it is.

I Think you must be the only boxing fan in the world who has listed such a ridiculous list of weakeness when assessing Yarde. There are things to work on of course, which is only right,l for one so inexperienced, but to say he has poor footwork etc is just nonsense but each to their own I guess.

You will find several people on this forum alone have similar views on his weaknesses. Frank has made it very clear he's well beyond British level already. Do you agree ?

Wow! Number 3?! Last time I knew he was 5. That #3 will hurt him a lot more than it will do good. Has he ever fought a top 25 ranked fighter? (Genuine question by the way).

I think he’s been managed terribly.

If there wss a WBSS LHW tournament next I wouldn’t have him making it out of the last 8.

I believe he would stop Buglioni right now (as would Buatsi) However, has he proven that hes above british level = no not yet, there are still some good names I would like to see him face. After Avalant, (who is a decent opponent by the way) I wouldnt mind seeing him a Ricky Summers type on the April 14 02 card.

Go and have a look at the rankings mate. I doesn't mean all that much whether he's 3 or 5 though they're nowhere near pulling the trigger on a title shot. There's some decent fights in the rankings available like Maro Kurat that they can aim for.

The type of fights you mention are sensible fights but if it wasn't for his promoter saying things like he's well beyond Buglioni and British level now then those fights would be fine in everyone's eyes. You don't hear Bautsi's team saying he's well beyond British level is at world level now and nor should you (and he's a far better fighter). Nothing wrong with saying they expect him to be at that level in 18 months or so but not right now.

Correct and also his terrible backfoot game he showed against a former super middle that couldn't punch lol you already put footwork but it needed mentioning again because it was cringe to see

It did as he seemed in shock at taking shots and did not know how to handle it. His oromoters need to get him in lesrni fights fast as if they do meanouvre him to a World Title fight without such fights I see him falling badly. Seen too many British fighters in reventbyimes fight for a World Title who have never proved to be better than domestic level and they came unstuck big time, and it's their team who has let them down by not working them through correctly.

He didn't like getting hit and when he was getting clipped with that pathetic attempt at a shoulder roll and just kept doing when it was obvious that he can't do it and was talking shots and thats another flaw he cant seem to adjust his just lucky it wasn't a big puncher and imo he doesn't walk throw buglioni it will be a tough fight
