Joshua Buatsi vs Dan Azeez is set for August 5th

Buatsi wins more comfortably than people will expect. Great matchup though.

 

I'd love for Buatsi to lose like Okolie.

I like Azzez, seems to have done it the right way. I don't like Buatsi.

What is it about Buatsi you don’t like? Always comes across pretty level headed down to earth to me that gets on with the task at hand.

 

For me I also think Buatsi wins easy enough on the cards, Azeez very tough, very game but lets be honest Buatsi is no Burton or Fielding….he won’t cave in under his pressure and think he’s pretty limited as a boxer.

 

An arrogant know-it-all who is badly deluded.

 

No ambition from Buatsi or his team, the only domestic dust up he should be having is Yarde.

 

Buatsi doesn't train like a real professional and he doesn't seem to care.

I won't be surprised if Buatsi loses to Azeez.

Buatsi has had such an easy ride compared to Yarde when it comes to criticism of his career.

This is a decent enough fight but it's the sort of fight he should have had at least a year ago now in my opinion.

 

I find it so weird, because when he turned over he looked awesome.

 

I agree, but talent is not enough. It takes hard work and dedication.

 

Even though I have decent contacts in the game, I know nothing about and have never met him, however as you say above everyone seems to have this same opinion on him and usually there’s no smoke without fire so I guess it’s probably true.

What a shame and as a fight fan it’s disappointing. He was so good in the Olympics even Mayweather tried to sign him and he usually shows zero interest in foreign boxers turning pro. He only tried to get Degale because he fancied his sister lolol.
