Might tune in to this, stepien looks like a blown up super middle with a very padded record. Would’ve preferred buatsi against azeez or vlasov but hey ho.

interested in the gvozdyk vs bolotniks fight on the canelo undercard

Pretty much, I don't think much of Buatsi, but even I don't give Stepien a snowballs chance in hell of pulling the upset.

McComb is a tidy boxer and he's boxing well here, the commentary team suspect he might have broken Benjamin's nostrils

    Round 1: Denny 10-9
    Round 2: McGowan 10-9 (close)
    Round 3: Denny 10-9
    Round 4: Denny 10-9
    Round 5: Denny 10-9
    Round 6: Denny 10-9
    Round 7: McGowan 10-9
    Round 8: McGowan 10-9
    Round 9: McGowan 10-9
    Round 10: McGowan 10-9

    95-95

Really good action. Can hear Joe Gallagher shouting instructions to McGowan. The early rounds were difficult to score so can see McgOwan getting the decision.

96-94 either way is fine. If I had to pick a winner I would say Denny.

Didn't see too much of the fight but the ref allowed Denny who was clearly the one initiating all the holding to prevent McGowan from working and then when he did decide to issue a warning he did so to both instead of the one who was actually doing it

Neanderthal Ted Cheeseman gets dropped by Whitaker, who can't get violently KO'd quick enough for me.

Showboating like this against good opponents in meaningful fights is one thing but doing it this early in the fight against journeymen is a bad look.
Whitaker does have some ability but he is definitely not the Roy Jones esque exceptional talent he seems to think he is
