How do you think Buatsi fares with Craig Richards?

 

Amir Khan, Quillin, Andre Berto, Fonfara. Out of those Khan fought Crawford (undeservedly) for the WBO welterweight title and Berto fought Mayweather (again undeservedly).

I'm struggling to think of anyone else. Not knocking the guy, good trainer but I think he is overhyped. Especially by Bellew

Buatsi will not beat any one legit top 10 LHW boxer with power.

What there wrong for Bolotniks?
If he does have brains, he will not box anymore, he had enough opportunities to KO Buatsi.
If he more values paychecks, he might continue collect some next cos he is highly ranked. Will be a journeyman. Nothing wrong.

Bolotniks despite overrated by boxrec and boxing orgs gave him real hell.
Imagine how Buatsi might look vs over the hill uncle Beterbiev? 2-4 rounds?

I think for Bolotniks it is good that he get Loss vs Buatsi, if he does have brains he will pick another road to earn for a living.
If no? His own problems. You can't dream to be top level boxer being with so low precision level like he showed in this fight. He should retire from pro boxing.
If he had Beterbiev or Canelo tonight, he had ended in ICU or morgue.

 

Yeah - Smith has lost both his last 2 fights quite comfortably. I'd give Buatsi a decent chance of taking him out.

 

Most of you guys are now changing your turn since Buatsi won.

You were hyping up Bolotniks saying he’s a top 10LHW, now Buatsi has won he’s definitely a top 10 light heavyweight.

One more decent test against someone slightly better than Bolotniks and he’s ready for one of the big guys

 

Cmon now you're being too harsh on Bolotniks, many of the guys boxing for years can't even counter over a jab with authority, man gave his best , could do a slightly better job though but he was certainly landing a lot of shots on Buatsi, if he had a bit more power he would've night nighted him for sure.

 

The usual "he'll lose" and then when he doesn't "he'll lose next time" rubbish. People find it hard to say "I underestimated this guy"

 

Exactly, Bolotniks was game and it showed, Buatsi either needs to be extra aggressive to compensate for the damage he takes or improve his defense.

 

Andre Berto, Amir Khan who he improved amongst others.

 

Khan still throws his flurries like a hyperactive hummingbird.

 

I had posted that he had proved euro level ( cos had euro title with 2 successful defenses under belt ) and that he is ranked there and here.

Yeah it is what it is. However with a bit more speed and precision he might had dropped Buatsi down for long time even with no more power than he had.

 

That was a great fight and Buatsi is clearly serious about what he's doing. I reckon he will keep improving and that he's capable of doing so if he takes a loss at the next level.

Khan’s problem was low IQ and not living the life like Virgil wanted him to.
