Bautsi can be competitive with any except Clenelo. He's on another planet right now. I thought it would end earlier than that. To be honest I don't know much about Bottleneck except from the few youtube vids of him. I underestimated his heart and durability. But in all Buatsi answered tough questions today and that's what you want to see in a prospect. LOL. I haven't followed this division in a minute. Yeah, he now had confirmed that he is euro level boxer.
Bolotniks looks that never will be above euro level.
There is nothing new for him: he had proved his euro level at CW vs Nielsen ( German cards we should not count at all ) then had stepped up vs Mchunu, who was then ranked top 15, top 5, top 8. Mchunu had a bit tougher night vs him than Buatsi if we look in depth.
Then he might had excuse: Mchunu is large boxer for Cruiserweight division while Bolotniks was small size for this divsion. Mchunu also had advantage cos he had more experience.
Now? Bolotniks really had proved that he is euro level in some 5 fights in row.
More than euro level looks that never will be achievable for him. For big stage maybe will be usable as an opponent in away corner cos he is highly ranked. Maybe might collect some not bad paychecks as an opponent when he still will be ranked in top 15 by some main boxing org. Will drop out from these rankings then ofc he will be cheaper to book fight with.
Today nope, he does not have any place for excuses, I hope he will not seek excuses and will get what his real maximal ceiling is: below top 15 without questions.

 

Buatsi has the right minerals and is a potential world champion unlike Richards and Yarde. He has a chance against Bivol.

 

Yarde might had been champ if he wasn't too tired and a bit gased after these 2 famous rounds of hell he had gave vs uncle Kovalev, why not?
If he was more fresh and might continue with high workrate and power 1 more round, he had stopped Kovalev in Russia.

 

I think if Yarde had the type of fights Buatsi had yesterday that would have helped him against Uncle Kovalev in Russia.
