Yeah it was embarassing.

 

However, Diamante did cut off Sweet Caroline as it was coming on to announce Bolotniks into the ring, not sure if anyone else noticed this but he went up an iota in my book for that move.

 

He's also very entertaining in the ring if he says so himself.

The only fight of his I found remotely entertaining was when he was knocked down twice and given a gift decision against former Luxembourg Welterweight champion Cedric Peynaud.

 

The first two understandable as both cannon fodder now for any decent contender which he has still to prove he is. He needs to forget about Porter and Ortiz as that is simply a bridge 3 miles long that has collapsed in the middle.

Conor Benn- "I want fan friendly fights"

Translation= I want to fight a semi retired fighter, who is well, well past it in a meaningless fight on PPV even though I have not even fought for a British title and probably never will, and half the good WW's in the UK would beat me so I will avoid them like the plague. Ideally, if I could fight a middle aged semi retired fighter even better, the longer the hype/gravy train continues the better. CRUSHING IT IN THE GYM!!!

 

I thought benn was referring to the Ortiz that got blitzed by Mayweather and not the young one with a pulse?

Costello was awful during the main event (which is when i got home) might as well have pulled Buatsi's shorts down mid fight and tugged him off

Barely recognised any good worl by Bolotnicks and it was down to Andy Lee to point that out

Boots v Ortiz is a fight i hope we get in the next couple of years. Both get a belt then face off. Boots is ready now but i think Ortiz needs 1 or 2 more. Brilliant boxers
