Joshua Buatsi vs. Zachary Parker & Bradley Rea vs. Lyndon Arthur - Round by Round.

It was an awful fight, however contrary to what some people are saying the fact the fight was **** does not justify a robbery. Even as someone not particularly high on Buatsi, I think he looked especially bad tonight. He displayed no adaptability, no craft and very little urgency. If he does manage to weasel his way into a fight with the Yarde-Benavidez winner, his in in for a very rough night.

 

Kind of curious to see how bad it was.

 

What the ****, I fell asleep in round 9 as the fight was dog **** and Parker was winning every round in boring fashion. Woke up this morning and saw Buatsi was given the decision? Boxing gives us a scandal every week, especially British boxing. It feels worse since Frank became king of the promoters again, allegedly.

 

Buatsi is a non-elite protected hypejob, Bivol, Beterbiev and Benavidez would crush him...

 

To be fair to the judges it's not that far away until Christmas which can be expensive.

A brown envelope is very much appreciated.

 

Fish Eyes aka "Allegedly" is the most dishonest promoter of them all.

 

Do people really think this is a robbery? After the 8th round the fan scorecard had it even, I had it exactly the same (including the same rounds) and I had the fight a draw. Buatsi win was reasonable, as was a narrow Parker win. Altho I'm glad Buatsi got it, Parker should've had a point deduction or two for holding and continually falling to the floor. He made Buatsi miss a lot and frustrated him but he didn't land a lot himself. Sick of people crying that everything is a robbery.

As a side question, is Carl Frampton the p4p worst scorer ever? He has to be in contention.

 

Atrocious fight to watch! Not a fan of Parker’s tactics either but have to say yeh I thought that was a robbery, easy (but poor to watch) Parker win from what I saw, which rounds did you give buatsi out of interest?
Not going to disagree with the fact that Parker should have been warned/deducted either, but he wasn’t so it was fair game-unfortunately

As for frampton it definitely seems that way since he’s been on dazn, thought he was good on tnt-perhaps he’s been spending too much time with bellew??

The question now is, how can promoters expect fans to pay their hard earned cash to see these guys fight? Where do either of them go from here? buatsi eyeing the winner of yarde/benavidez yeh right the gap between those top 2/3 guys in the division and everyone else is so big they might aswell just not bother

 

I gave Buatsi rounds one, two and ten. Can't remember the other two I gave him, like I said it was the same ones the fan scorecard had that came up on screen. Definitely not a robbery. The commentators were sucking Parker off all night.

And tbh I could see Buatsi beating Yarde. Buatsi has admittedly looked better than that before.

 

Buatsi looked absolutely clueless, then again Yarde might not have much left. This generation of British ‘next gen’ light heavyweights have been around for ages and done not a lot, and all of a sudden they are old.

 

I've still gotta catch-up with this card.

Arch do yourself a favour and give Buatsi v Parker a miss
