Joshua Clottey... any updates?

    Last I heard he injured himself and had to pull out of the Cotto/Mayorga undercard.. anybody have any updates on his status?

    How long will he be out for? Can we expect to see him back in the ring in the near future?

    he got paid well to throw the fight, you won't see him anytime soon.

    I really like Clottey personally, one of my favourite fighters going. Disliked his fight against Pacman, he knew he wasnt going to win in his mind so decided to set himself a goal of not being stopped (which was never going to happen) instead of to win.

    Agreed.. thats why I was looking forward to seeing him get back in there. I know hes not always the most exciting fighter in the world, but I personally enjoy watching him fight.

    I like Clottey.. He presents a lot of problems for a lot of good boxers.. When he does decide to throw punches, he can throw some pretty fast, compact combinations..

    Clottey is my dude and I hope to see him back soon. That 1.5 million dollar "bonus" for not sparking Pac has made him chill a little harder than usual.

    Personally, I would have LOVED to see Clottey against Berto. I like Clottey, he's a good B+ fighter and a very good test for up-and-coming WW or JMW or whatever he fights at these days.
