Clottey is a brave, solid, strong fighter, but he is well out of his depth here. He will struggle to win a round amidst the firestorm of Pacquiao's attacks.

Actually I think you will find out that Pac will prove to be the one who has gone out of his depth. Clottey is no weight-drained Cotto. In fact, he beat up a full-strength Cotto.

I can't wait for this fight.

Good luck to Josh, I hope he makes Bob Arum look like a total idiot for turning down the 14-day deal.

    WAR CLOTTEY!!!

Amazy that someone could go from 'full-strength' to 'weight-drained' by losing 16 ounces in weight....

    Then tell me...

Why did they insist on fighting at 145 as opposed to 147. Seriously, if it makes absolutely no difference, then why do it????

So now Cotto was weight drained? That same Cotto was said to be "Not a weight drained DLH or Over rated or Past his prime Ricky" The Cotto that lost to PAC was a better version than the one who beat Josh in a close fight....where Josh could have gotten the nod. This fight still present problems for Manny due to the size advantages Josh will have but Manny will or should come out on top.

    :deal Checkmate

The entire idea was to divert Cotto's camp away from gameplanning, where Santiago was deficient to begin with, to fitness and coming in the lightest he's been in 4 years. If you don't want the criticism fight the champion at his weightclass

You have absolutely positively no basis for declaring this as fact.

B/c Manny isn't a WW fighter...he was a Jr WW fighter meeting up with a WW champion in Cotto. A smaller man vs a bigger man meet somewhere in the middle.

This same Champion had the majority of his fights at Jr WW so loosing a mere 1 lbs was not an issue nor did it weaken him one bit. From Cotto's own mouth he was in the best shape of his life and he was not affected negatively one bit by the weight of 145.

Yes I do....Cotto said it himself. He said before the fight he was in the best possible shape of his life and that PAC would be surprised that he would be even more powerful, fast and stronger than Manny expects. Not to mention just looking at pics between the Josh and Manny fight Cotto in apperance looks even more inshape and conditioned.

But on the other hand....you don't have any basis in claiming Cotto was weight drained or a weakened fighter.
