My sentiment exactly. I see why there are thoughs who favor Clottey over Cotto because stylistically he's going to be a tough match up for him and quite frankly for just about everyone. Personally I favor Cotto on the cards but I expect a war that results in a close decision.
clottey does fight similar to margarito even with better defense, but miguel just alot better in every other dept. what might trouble cotto down the line might be clotteys pressure and being constant on his attack in the later rounds. clottey also fights in one gear, but doesn't have stamina problems. i think he might go to the cotto body the first rounds, but miguel i think will try to outbox him carefully with some powershots here and there, but would be wise not to slug it out with clottey. still, i don't think clottey has faced a puncher like miguel. cotto ud12 clottey
Cotto has far more tools at his arsenal and can make adjustments midfight. From what I've seen of Clottey he is a one trick pony. If you are going to be a one trick pony and beat Cotto, you have to throw a lot of leather like Margarito did, maybe 2:1 and wear Cotto down. Clottey isn't a pressure fighter. I see Clottey having his moments early but losing a UD, something like 8-4 Cotto.
you're telling me to go **** my self? you really are pathetic and a true embarrasment to boxing fans and Cotto fans. How about next time you just talk to me like a man and answer something relevant to the fair point I made instead of talking like an emotional *****. :good
