Excellent point. So true, with Clottey. He really needs you right there in front of him before he tees off.

Yeah, that's why his bread and butter punch is his LEAPING left hook.

I like Clottey in this one. Quintana might present some slickness and it might be harder for Clottey to pin Quintana down but Clottey's a huge WW and whatever Quintana throws at the granite chinned Clottey won't affect him. He'll just walk through them. He took 1,600+ punches from Marg and was never hurt. That saids a lot. And Quintana isn't a high work rate guy either so it will be about quality of punches and not quantity.

Clottey UD. His d and counter punching will prevail.

Oh yeah, Clottey also throws a terrific lead straight right and I would expect him to land it frequently against Quintana with his s. paw stance.

    Possibly late stoppage for Clottey.

PTP presents an entirely different challenge than does Quintana. They both are south paws but PTP is a volume puncher that throws combinations to the head and body. I'd actually favor PTP over Clottey because of his work rate.

CLottey got rocked by Judah, I think his chin is cracking.

Actually, I think Clottey throws a wicked double and triple left hook. But again, it's one of those punches he needs you right there in front of him for.

Clottey has that Ghanian style, very similar to other african fighters like Azumah Nelson and Ike Quartey. Elbows tucked, hands up at all time, and just sort of walk towards your opponent and throw lots of punches. His punching technique is very good, I'll say that.

It's a good fight, but I'll lean towards Clottey although I do think movers and more defensive oriented fighters probably give him a harder technical fight than say Margarito.

No he didn't. He said after the fight that he was never stunned. Actually, i've heard him say a few times that he's never been hurt in a fight before.

what fighter would say they got hurt, not too many. Clottey was hurt though, I believe he iniated a clinch after the flurry from Zab.

Clottey by decision or late KO
I think he's to strong for Quintana
