Exactly - he'd cover up for several rounds, and be fresh and hardly dented by the time Cotto punches himself out.

Of course, Cotto does have options in finding a way to crack the nut, as he's a smart and resilient fighter. He could either find some angles that Joshua doesn't like, or draw Clottey into some countering opportunities, or just hammer at his arms until they dropped to his side...

He's one of the most underrated and feared fighters living. He's basically another Winky Wright, he's good and is a problem for anyone but because of his style no one wants anything to do with him.

Better question, has Arum found him an opponent yet?

He's a good fighter but gets severely overrated based on how he looked for four rounds..four ****ing rounds..against Margarito who is a notorious slow starter anyway. People think that if he hadn't hurt his hand, it would've looked that way for 12 rounds that it did for 4, I say bull****.

Clottey doesn't have teh best stamina and takes too many rounds off.

Well, it wasn't stamina that lost him that fight. And Clottey isn't close to being overrated, where do you see this guy getting any props or recognition? Is there an Africa boxing site or something?

Take a look around. His whole rep. is based off looking good for four rounds against Margarito. That is being overrated. If you need further proof, check out his fight against Gutierrez, a guy Clottey still says gave him his toughest fight.

Gutierrez is a tough guy, but by no means a world beater and was sparked not too long ago in five rounds by a 12 fight prospect. And then you got guys saying he'll (Clottey) TKO Williams

But anyway I agree with GoldenChild. Clottey's rep is based solely on the first four rounds of the Margarito fight (rounds 2-4 really, since round 1 was close). Outside of that, he hasn't done anything that was particularly impressive. Like people rave about those early rounds against Margarito, you would think Clottey was a killer who just so happened to be injured early in a fight he would have won "easily." If that was the case, you would at least think he'd be able to stop guys Chico, Flores, Gutierrez, Judah, and Alvarez.

Look at a guy like PW, his whole rep is based off beating AM & his resume is still kinda thin, but does that mean he isn't a good fighter? As you can see, he's one of the best out there.

Yes his resume isn't the best, but resumes dont reflect who you are in the ring.
