Wilder wins the WBC title aged 29 in his 33rd fight. Joshua wins the IBF title aged 25 in his 16th fight. It`s not even close.

Joshua is the new emerging superstar of heavyweight boxing. 20,000 excited fans in the o2 arena. Poor Wilder must be green with envy. Does anyone in the US know who he is?

comparing them yes you wanna give advantages to AJ but its heavy weight boxing and with 2 guys like this any thing can happen

i would be supporting wilder but hes running into sumone more faster and athletic then him which he isnt used to.

but wilder has POWER. and he can end it . and his trainers are doing a great job making him complete fighter. but joshua is already complete fighter while wilder is still getting better. AJ is getting better as well but hes perfecting his craft already AJ a handful if his chin holds up looks like he has good stamina hes gunna be handful for anyone.

You realise that Joseph Parker was offered the chance as well, and if he took it HE would be the one to take the title - they just didn't have the cash for it. Most of the top 15 guys right now would have smashed Martin into oblivion if they were given the opportunity and took it. Team Joshua all but bought that title after Fury threw it in the bin.

Joshua is clearly the better talent. Wilder has to use his experience in the pro ranks and fight him now if he wants to have any chance.

    Joshua is flawed
    Wilder is fraud

Wilder didn't have the amateur experience AJ had, it'd unfair to compare them like that. Besides, Wilder got his acolytes fair and square, no one bought him a gold medal or a title shot against the weakest champion in decades.

AJ seems good until you dig deeper. I believe he has it all to become great but his past isn't exactly a Cinderella story. He was gifted opportunities many people never see.

Wilder obviously beat the better guy for the title though.

How on earth is AJ more athletic compared to Wilder? His Muscle mass is Frank Brunoisque and trust me it is going to hurt him in a bigger fight against an opponent who is fighting back and will stretch him to the later rounds. Wilder has proven his stamina and athleticism.

Didn't Joshua also slow down for a few rounds when Dylian White hit him a few times? Another key factor in this fight

Christ on the cross, dude. Wilder was an Olympic Bronze medalist, is 30 years old, has had 36 professional fights, been fighting for 8 years, and is now going on his fourth "title" defense. There is nothing "wet behind the ears" about him, he just sucks.

To put it in perspective, Fury had a similar amatuer career,is three years younger, has had 11 less professional fights, and has beatan an ATG.

A fat guy who was stopped by Demetrice King and subsequently dropped by Derrick Rossy? Yes, a true champ that one.

You Wilder guys need to wake up. He is a cleverly manufactured fringe contender, nothing more.

I'm more of a Joshua fan than Wilder. But Wilder is more proven(he's 30 so I'd hope he would be). At least Stiverne had some skills and was trying to win. That's more than we can say for Martin and Breazeale

What are you talking about? Both started boxing late Wilder at 19, Joshua at 20, both had short amateur careers and both were Olympians, their amateur experience was pretty similar.

Though I agree Joshua has been more fortunate, he had a home games, had some close fights go his way at the Olympics and clearly lost one but got the decision, which has led to the success he has now.
