It doesn't seem like Eddie Hearn stops his guys from having their own sidelines, he said he was bankrolling Haney's promotion company.

That's what I would do if I were AJ and had an itch to see if I could develop a talent pipeline from Nigeria or whatever he has in mind. Lose four million of Eddie's money and call it a day.

If you have a fortune the worst idea is to start a business. It's almost impossible to lose tens of millions any other way, very easy to lose it in business.

Yeah never quite understand why so many get involved in other investments etc....or the promise of big returns on your money.

Surely if you,ve got millions....you dont really need it to be working for you anymore. I,d be putting it straight in the bank...low interest rate the lot.

Too many of these investments end up going bad.

I'd advise him to sign again with Matchroom and Sky, it's the definition of a mutually advantageous relationship. He has leverage so he can get a great deal, but the situation isn't really comparable to Floyd and Top Rank.

Pretty sure thats how they do it. Agree price for opponent, undercard, expenses, hotels, drug testing etc.

Then take the revenue....gate, pay per view, sponsorship for the fight, international rights etc.

Take away the expenses from the revenue...joshua then gives eddie 15 percent.

Bearing in mind hearns pretty good at promoting, getting sponsorships, selling ppv,s and international rights etc. Its a good deal for joshua tbf.

And works out decent for hearn...cause joshua fights make decent coin where 15 percents a decent return. Eddie pretty much does the rest...in organising it all etc.
