Breazeale is pretty weak, but so too is the whole HW division. And the superior opponents are all tied up at the moment. And Joshua just won the title a couple weeks back. So it's an understandable and worthy first title defense, I suppose. Not quite as good as Martin's first defense of the unwarranted title, but still, given the circumstances not a bad one... I predicted Breazeale as Joshua's first defense about two weeks ago. It's logical. Duhappus was perhaps the better choice, but hey, lets not act like Robert Helenius was ever anything special (I know Helenius has a fan club on this forum... sorry).

Breazeale was supposed to fight Arreola. Terrible fight for Joshua, he carries a bit power but that's it, easy KO win for AJ.

Breazeale is a big man with a soft body. He's on the slow side, and only has a average chin. He can punch some. Very safe choice.

Breazeale is a similar level opponent as Martin and we all saw how quickly Joshua brushed him aside.

Breazeale is slow, has no jab, is flat footed, doesn't know how to clinch, trades too much and is easily countered. His defence is a tighter than Martins and he's shown heart against Mansour, so won't likely fold as quickly as Martin but AJ will likely stop him in a one sided fight inside 3-4 rounds. This fight proves nothing, I had hoped for a better opponent like Stiverne.

Groves has his hands full. He's the better fighter but Murray is tough and should give him a good fight. As long as Groves doesn't fade down the stretch he should win.

Anyone that thinks Murray will test Groves needs their head tested.

Groves - Murray is a very good fight. Looking forward to that one.

Joshua - Brazil is a pile of twadge.

Just a question of whether Groves will stop Murray, and when AJ will stop Breazy.

Breazeale might look just the same as Gary Cornish.

I say Groves will handle him. Good fight however.

Can't believe Hearns put Joshua up against a whole nation of Brazil.
He must be confident in AJ.

Very easy fight for Joshua - easier than Martin even.

Breazeale is far too sloppy and slow for Joshua, and Joshuas clean and accurate punches will find Breazeale early.

Kudos to DB's comeback in the Masour fight, but Mansour (who is much smaller than Joshua, and cruder) was raking DB over the coals from the get go.

The best cruiserweight's going wouldn't crack the top 10 in the heavyweight division. Basically every other division the best would be top 5 in the division up. (Except maybe light heavy going to cruiser I don't know if Ward or Kovalev would be top 5 cruisers which makes the heavy's look even stronger)

FFS the best cruiserweights probably would struggle to beat Breazeale lol

Yes! This is who I wanted Joshua to fight next. I don't like Breazale so I look forward to him getting beat.

Breazeale is on par with a Wilder type defense only worse. Brits can't complain about Deontay if this is the **** AJ pulls.

Joshua's next bum is a 10/1 underdog. Utterly pathetic.

Shame on Hearn. He gets away with this because the current generation of boxing fans are utter morons. Quite a few of them post on this forum.
