Let me reverse that imagine was a 19 fight Wladimir would do vs the 19 fight AJ that he fought. Bare in mind, Wladimir didn't challenge for a main title until his 36th fight. Howabout we speculate on what the 40 fight prime AJ might be like, and then match that worthless speculation against a prime Wladimir.

Imagine what a 19 fight Wladimir would have done against a prime Ali or a prime Foreman, Lewis, Tyson.. need I go on.

Has unified, bar one belt, in 21 fights. Only has Wilder and a myth known as Tyson Fury left to face. Has been in with big hitters and better boxers, faster hands and better movers than he is. He hasn't been protected. So why would he start now.

Being able to successfully execute different gameplans against undefeated Champions in their prime can be argued is 'special' quality . Parker who is usually an aggressive attacker on the front foot was totally disarmed and kept at range. It was a Mayweather- esque performance in terms of bringing home the the win by boxing smart and without taking any risks. It was a tactical fight that shows Joshua can be a boxer and a brawler.

Not all past legends brought the 'x factor' into the ring. Lewis played the same rage game behind the jab against Tua and his two fights with Holyfield were uneventful boxing matches as well.

Put Joshua in against Povetkin or Whyte again and you'll see how dangerous and good he is when those guys come forward and attack him.
That's not to say Parker did anything wrong , he employed the right stick n move strategy which will beat AJ one day , he just got edged out by the better , bigger , stronger Joshua who clearly was prepared for whatever Parker brought to the table.
Joshua boxed a safe , smart fight and cruised to a points win without ever being in a spot of bother. His stock is sound.

LOL He's only faced 2 threats so far.

1. Was a ATG heavyweight who was 41yo and coming off the longest layoff in his career.....and he went life and death.

2. Was Parker who imo is solid but nothing special.

The rest are C level fighters at best.

There is Wilder, Povetkin and Ortiz out there who really are dangerous.
