Don’t be stupid. Paper mache chins ain’t taking a flush right hand form Dr Steelhammer. That shot would have put Wilder in a coma.
A glass jawed person doesnt take multiple hands from wladimir klitschko who is arguably the most murderous puncher of his era and even this era besides wilder. But hes been rocked by much lesser punchers. His punch resistance is very suspect and average at best. He doesn't have a good chin. But hey wilder got rocked by eric molina and fury got rocked by wallin and Cunningham so they all have a suspect chin tbh
Yup true toughness doesn't dance It's basically genetic luck Fury, Ruiz, Joyce, Parker. Whyte, AJ and Wilder all have done the dance. Knees weak arms are heavy, vomit on the canvas already, moms spaghetti. AJ's punch resistance was totally gone after Ruiz concussed him. Being a pumped up weight lifter who naturally is only 230 pounds doesn't help. The shock on the face of punchers like Dubious, Wilder and AJ when they fight men who can handle their shots is hilarious. Knowing you might not be able to stop a man when it's your A-move is a bad night.
Can’t really argue with this. They all have suspect chins but Fury is able to recover very quickly as we’ve seen a few times now, Joshua’s size means he’s not able to and takes a while to get back into the swing of things or not at all. Think that will be a key different when/if they fight.
His chin isn't good or even average. Its clearly below average. But most importantly it's his defense or lack of it and everything related to it. And his Khan-like propensity to start a middle of the ring gun fight instead of disengaging and getting his senses and legs back. But no, why do that when you can do a Doc Holiday wild west quickdraw war for keeps? Ill give him this - AJ IS A FIGHTER and an entertaining one to watch. Compare his mentality to Wlad Klitschko's who is beloved by many around here a d how could you prefer Wlad? Wlad has a claim as being the greatest physical specimen in HW history, yet for him to have had the career he had agAinst the competition he fought, shameful.
After around 210-220 pounds what matters more in terms of chin isnt size but neck muscles, head shape and genetics. You see vitali and wlad are about the same size but vitali has an iron chin while wlad took blows from much weaker opponents and went down. david price is one of the largest heavyweights of all time so on paper he should have one of the strongest chins of all time but he doesn't.
Doesn’t have a weak chin. He’s fighting puncher’s and has a habit of getting caught big when trying to finish. The whole point of puncher’s is that they can hurt even sturdy chins. Klitschko, Whyte and Ruiz are big puncher’s. We saw what Whyte’s left hook did to Chisora and Parker, Joshua didn’t even go down. His chin isn’t his problem.
Joshua’s a bad style matchup for Fury. Can see him stopping Fury. Just needs to do about 10-15% better than Wallin.
