Joshua External Issues?!

Ya I was literally just googling regulations about allowing a recently KOd fighter to knowingly fight on... because I was thinking the exact same thing. Would further explain why Hearn would be so adamant about him being fine. But couldnt find anything (meaning I couldnt find any link to any sort of regulations whatsoever )

 

Why? This is the kind of thing I mean "He would though, wouldn't he?" Why? Since when is it expected for fighters and promoters to forgo excuses after a fight? That is completely abnormal. The opposite of what is expected, literally. I've heard about fighters losing because they are close to crapping themselves because they broke their back, because they are getting a divorce...why on earth wouldn't Hearn say "we had a bad training camp"? Why would he say "there was no problem?" Why forgo the alibi that is absolutely normal?

This happens after a big fighter loses a fight every single time without fail. But it's usually not true.

I've seen the photos. What does it prove? He could have heard Eddie say "he's facked it the big idiot", he could have early onset dementia. Why does it automatically play into your conspiracy about what really happened? It could have three dozen explanations, couldn't it?

Look, I'm not saying nothing happened, i'm really not. What I'm saying is, let's hear it from someone who matters before we decide to believe it. Just like every other aspect of life.

 

Absolutely. But you can say any one of a dozen things. "Tough training camp", "difficulty in sparring", "took a shot in sparring that made him feel odd", "he took a right hand from X last week and since then he's been a little off" you don't have to say "he got knocked out in sparring."

I have never seen a fighter and promoter forgo an alibi, if one exists, in this way, so completely, ever. Even in instances when a fighter was literally underperfoming because he was smoking crack cocaine (which could get you life in prison at that time), it came out double quick.

out of me saying this, and people posting on the forum that AJ had a surgical procedure "days before the fight", you think this is the unnecessary remark?

The alibis posters on this forum have tried to offer AJ post-loss are absolutely ****ing bat**** crazy.

Gareth Davies told Alan Brazil about a "rumour" that AJ was KO'd in sparring. A newspaper has since published the counter rumour that nothing of the sort happened and that this comes from the AJ camp directly.

Why so ready to believe the first rumour but not the second?
