Joshua Fight April 9th who is the opponent?

Takam in an IBF Final Eliminator apparently is on the cards.

 

Chisora for Vacant EBU also on cards, rumours going around about him fighting Jennings in the U.S, I like the Takam fight, I heard Parker & his team were also after him, as Parker is ranked just behind him by the IBF, with Joshua ranked just ahead of him.

 

If Hearn wants to stage the fight on PPV, then it really should be Takam in an IBF Eliminator.

 

It is the occasion, not necessarily the fight that they are selling. That said, because Joshua is just starting out as a main event PPV fighter, I think they will bring in a 'name'. Shannon Briggs maybe?!

 

It will be a 90/10 fight in favour of Joshua

 

At least; maybe 95/5, they will not take any chances, but will want someone who is known; hence the Briggs suggestion.

Would not be impressed with Takam as an eliminator, but when your paper belt champion is Charles Martin...

 

Takam would be a much tougher fight than Martin IMO, Takam beats Martin.

 

Takam is a top 10 heavy.

There's no pleasing some people I guess.

 

I understand where they are coming from. With the right promotion I could 'fight' 30 set ups that gets me to 30-0 and a top ten rating. But that still does not mean Joshua would not have me out of there with his first punch...
