Eddie Hearn also stated yesterday that Bermane Stiverne and Johann Duhaupas was still being considered along with Chisora and maybe one or two others. The Joshua v Whyte fight did an impressive 400,000 (approx) PPV buys and will be a difficult task for follow. With both Matchroom and Sky keen to maximise profits surely only the Chisora fight for the Euro title would really tap into the mass market.

Not a PPV fight. Stiverne may attract the public more as ex-'champ' and less losses. I don't think that is a PPV either, mind. I don't think any Joshua fight should be a PPV...

I am convinced it will be Duhaupas, some how they have to slow AJ down, they don't want Haye for 12-18 months so if AJ blows Chisora out in good style and especially if it's quicker than Haye did it in then the calls get louder and excuses are harder to make.

So I see a very slow but steady progression over the next 12 months without the supposed "bigger" names being thrown around at the moment.

Unfortunately with AJs popularity almost all of the pressure on matchroom to deliver a significant opponent is gone as he can now carry a PPV off his own back and deliver good numbers.

I have got to admit from that perspective he has quite simply been brilliantly promoted by matchroom.

Personally I wouldn't mind seeing Chisora next

i still think he needs a more durable opponent like Wach, but it would be a hard PPV Sell

does anybody really want to see another over hyped domestic Chisora vs .....fight. We know he's better than journeyman and is a decent domestic, possibly at a push european level fighter, we all know he comes up woefully short when put it with a big, hard hitting heavy weight (VK) aside. I think we all know AJ stops him and prob fairly early, it's a fight i'm just not interested in. Biggs is a name, however over the hill he is I think it would be a good and natural step up against a seasoned American heavyweight who's been in with them all. AJ vs Biggs, there, the fight is made :)

Chisora needs to work out if one last big pay day is worth it or don't take the fight and try to get a mandatory slot.

How many chances does Chisora get before the UK fans realize he is merely a domestic level fighter?Get a fresh face inside the ring with AJ.A beating over Chisora does nothing for Aj's rep, except bragging rights in a local pub.

At 15 fights can they realistically expect each of his fights to be a PPV? I really don't think so, seems like promotional suicide to me. What he needs is to be fighting increasingly good but not really hugely dangerous opponents that will test him 3-4X a year. Perhaps one PPV. Getting the public interested against names on normal Sky Sports would gather more attention than ripping people off with him sparking Chisora out. While PPV has brought in some good nights it has also been a huge let down more often than not and should be used carefully.

Chisora is no mug, especially for a relatively inexperienced fighter like AJ.

If they fought and AJ won, that would be decent progress IMO. Certainly not a pushover.
