have we forgotten the same wighins who was granted tues for the 2012 games , was then sent a hand couriered parcel that's since been found to have been synthetic testosterone , mo farah the other golden boy of the games , caritine injections ,the oregon project that his coach salazar headed shut down , gara and various whistleblowers, then there's his links to convicted doping coach jama aden who he lied about knowing before a photo surfaced ... he was arrested with crazy amounts of epo , there's the condo he and salazar were photographed in with a bag of epo , naivety is a nice way of putting it, don't get me started mr biology masters

I dont disagree mate that drugs are rife in top level sports but you have to have evidence. I have asked simple questions like show me how the evidence he has TuE(s) and have received nothing back ? Evidence of this unnatural weight gain ? Heard nothing back.

Ok i agree the degree stuff was petty of me but i only mentioned it when it was stated that i knee nothing about it because i require evidence.

but remember he is the sports golden goose , or was , marion jones was the golden girl of athletics , never failed a test had the most money and the best doctor / balco with the clear (ThG) factor in if that syringe was never handed in by whistle lower that drug would still be undetectable , them figure joshua has far superior wealth in a sport with pathetic drug testing protocols , even the allowed test ratio is absurd and can be abused by anyone with knowledge , micro dosing is also dearer and less effective than the type of state sponsored free ride doping many accuse joshua of , and add in the only time he fought in usa with an independent comission he was koed . Margaret goodman now head of vada is imo THE expert in the field ; evander holyfield aka evan fields never failed a test goodman was on to him and roy jones , and few people know the second tarver fight was the first she used hair folicles to test the ratios, roy's was something absurd around 46:1 after his fight before ruiz hence the scrutiny , she was even quoted as saying let's see if roy still looks like superman tomorrow after seeing his vastly reduced ratio during testing . you won't find a printed article until after the fact , but in every scandql mentioned there were denials before it went public ....

factor in also even the walking pharmacy. miller claimed josh was on juice , dillian whyte has mentioned his tue publicly so many times and never been checked for slander , the signs are to obvious to ignore

I can only find evidence of one TuE though ? Some people just arent in to suing for things like slander, it could have a Streisand effect if he sued.

wiggins farah froome 53 tues for brits at 2012 that were leaked alone ...
then in 2016 nicola adams was revealed as having one for the 2016 games , all names are on the fancy bears website yet it barely makes an online article in the uk , source ...
The head of UK Anti-Doping (UKAD) condemned the latest leak of British athletes' medical records by computer hackers from the group 'Fancy Bears', which is believed to be Russian, and who have targeted the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA).

The gold medallists Adams and Trott, plus the silver medal-winning rower Olivia Carnegie-Brown and swimmer Siobhan-Marie O’Connor – had details of their historic therapeutic use exemptions (TUEs) placed on the Fancy Bears website.

    Do they have a case?
Critics of TUEs claim they can be used by athletes as a way to bend anti-doping regulations.

A Cycling Independent Reform Commission report in 2015
    This content is protected
with one rider alleging that 90% of them are used to boost performance.

In March 2015, former Olympic road race champion Nicole Cooke
    This content is protected
and Brian Cookson, the head of the International Cycling Union, for failing to tackle the issue.

However, every athlete whose details have been leaked had the permission of the anti-doping authorities to take the substances revealed by Fancy Bears.

Froome took the steroid prednisolone to treat chest infections, while Wiggins took salbutamol to treat asthma.

Both have spoken strongly in the past about their anti-doping beliefs.

amazing how many top level athletes have asthma ? lol have a search on duck duck go , for fancy bears british tue 2012 or 2016 or just look on there website , so much of the juicy content is strangely blocked on google yet shows on unmoderated search engines

Precisely. AJ is no more muscular than Frank Bruno was. My concern is that his is no longer a Boxer's physique and this will go against him.

Joshua's awesome physique is not evidence of anabolic PED use. He's clearly got awesome genetics. And 250 pounds at a height of 6'6 is plausible.

But his fluctuations in lean fighting weight clearly suggest drugs.
Even with great genetics and high-response to weight training, packing on 15 or 20 pounds of muscle while training effectively for the sport of boxing without PEDs is highly unlikely.
.... and shedding the muscle naturally and maintaining an effective boxing training regime and an excellent performance is even less likely.
    Pretty much impossible.

But anyway, every top heavyweight is on PEDs. And every other weight class too.
Most top sportsmen are using PEDs. At the elite level it's necessary.

Yeah looking at it....something looks afoot. Most boxers training is cardio based. Something that weight lifters stay away from.

You dont really see guys that predominately do cardio look like joshua. Is he even lifting weights? To gain muscle you really need to be destroying a muscle to grow back stronger...involved in that is resting that muscle. Thats basically the science behind it. I just dont see how thats possible with a boxing training regime. They have to work bloody hard....no real time for that muscle to recover properly.

So hes not training like a bodybuilder....doing around 4 or 5 hours a day of cardio....yet hes pretty much gaining muscle. I m just not sure thats possible...hes put on say 40 or 50 pounds and still has a six pack.

I thought you needed a low body fat percentage for a six pack. Surely bulking on weight....and still having a six pack is slightly suspect. So many questions to be answered...without being an expert...it does look suspect. Can anyone actually explain it....a lot of it does go against whats been taught anyway.

AJ at some point has been on PEDs ....most people i know have so why wouldnt he?

I dont blame him in the slightest ,i hope he has made the lack of testing during 'lockdown' to his advantage

I would like to see a natural athlete move from 230lb to 250 lb in a year without PED help....

In my opinion he was far more dangerous as a roided 250 lb gasser than 230 lb boxer....

You only have to watch Icarus to see how pathetic doping procedures are.

Even one of the old WADA head of sheds himself said the tests are so easily bypassed, he effectively said there useless and he's been proven right time and time again.

As a result you don't see many positive results, majority of finds are retrospective as well.

However, there is so much evidence out there that proves the majority of elite athletes are doping one way or another. Either getting near the max tolerance levels for testosterone for example, doping through exploiting TUE or my favourite, through personal doctors.

The reality is of the above 3 examples, athlete's are likely exploiting all 3.

You have to be incredibly naive to believe that with all the evidence available, that on a balance of probability elite level levels on the whole are not doping. It just comes down to maths.

For the most part we can only go on that, because testing is so ineffective.

i remember a few years ago a stat that Wayne Rooney earned more per year than UKADs budget...

denying doping is rife is like saying nobody sniffs cocaine on a weekend because they didnt get caught with bitter bogies

I find the last line here very frustrating. We’ve got a guy who has listed his qualifications asking someone else (who ‘knows’ AJ is cheating as it’s ‘impossible’ to do what he’s done) simple questions about what he’s taken and what he’s used to mask it, and the other guy doesn’t answer. Cue frustration.

It’s a shame we live in a world where any old idiot on the internet can become an instant expert. It devalues education, genuine expertise, and takes us down a troubling path. Look at Brexit; a deeply complex subject which is disguised as a simple question. ‘Should we leave’ sounds straightforward. A yes or no throwaway guess. But imagine every person who voted had to first write an answer, exam style, to the following question; ‘explain the short, medium and long term effects on the British economy if Britain were to leave the European Union and operate solely under the WTO.’ 99% of the general public would fail.

But, we get clowns like Michael Gove telling us we’re fed up of experts. Back to the point; if a guy is saying ‘I’ve got significant qualifications in this very field and this is my opinion’ we should listen to him, not fire up Wikipedia to ‘prove’ he’s wrong when our comparable qualifications are a C grade biology GCSE.

To be fair twentyman had a point i was being a bit of an ass with some stuff i was writing. The degree stuff was more out of frustration of being told i knew nothing because i didnt just accept their dogmatic ramblings of knowing as fact without evidence.

Also the fact im told im a AJ fanboy because im not willing to pile on a train to call him a fraud. Even though ive stated several times on lots of threads my belief that Fury is the better fighter.
