Wilder & Joshua Chin probably not that different in punch resistance, the difference is how they react after they get dropped... The European war doctrine of Anthony Joshua....forces him to cave in & surrender when faced with a new invader...a European tradition since the Paleolithic... Deontay Wilder represents the American indomitable spirit, Deontay Wilder reaction to being dropped is best represented by the American reaction to Pearl Harbor...
I think it had more to do with his feet than his chin. He had no balance because his feet were squared up(?). Joshua landed some huge right hands right on the chin and Ruiz ate them. I think the right hand Joshua landed right after the KD was more hurtful.
Fighters with solid chins don't hit the deck against fighters like Dustin Nichols and Harold Sconiers.
A guy gets knocked down ONCE by a big punching heavyweight champ with an impressive KO ratio before getting up clear headed to turn the fight around and walk through the rest of the guys shots and you try to downplay it. Your schtick is tedious and you really are a *****.
Pure glass similar to WK but WK never quit, he at least tried to continue.......AJ folded like a lawn chair looking for the exit against a late sub who is by no means a big puncher.....AJ has a lot of dog in him and it will come out again , bank on it.
Audley Harrison is glass, AJ not a great chin but it’s not terrible, he wouldn’t get up at all otherwise. The term glass jaw really does get thrown around....
An powerful elephant fart would probably spark Bum Squad and Robo Squad out cold if they were standing in close proximity of the elephant's ass.
The thread is selective memory. AJ took several klitschko punches even after he was drained. Why is every acting like he was only hit once,it was a 11 rounder ????? smh He also laughed and shrugged off all of whyte punches AFTER the second round. He took a full fledged left hook from parker when he dropped his hands after a head butt and no one even noticed it ? lol Joshua also walked into the left hook from Ruiz which creates more power ,that's the problem with ppl never taking a punch before they don't understand this ( I do I was literally knocked 20 feet back once trying to stay on my feet ..ONCE .lol ) He also took a few Breazeale shots landing square, last time I checked that guy had a 90% K.O record bf Wilder who was lucky he only got hit glancingly that knocked him backward briefly. The entire glass jaw thing is puzzling ? lets wait and see if the Ruiz win wasn't due to not being prepared for fast pace spurts or actual chin issue seeing the above lol
I would absolutely love it if it turned out Zakman was a double glazing salesman. It would all make so much sense!
