you don't need to prepare half year for a fight against body builder

3weeks is enough. the proof is the first fight

This. Three months is plenty of time. The real question is can Joshua fix his mistakes, so a repeat doesn’t happen.

No. This is just wishful thinking on your part. Ruiz knows what he needs to do to be ready for the fight.

Training for one specific opponent on a specific date is different than “he just fought so he’s in shape”. You train to peak on that date, which is a process.

Additionally you work on tactics and strategy for that opponent. You reinforce those with repetition.

Ruiz will have a full camp for this fight, which he didn’t have last time.

His coach needs to put a snickers bar on a stick and attach to his head so it extends above and in front of his head. That's the only way to motivate Ruiz to do road work.

AJ needs to trian way harder because he was no match for Ruiz last time

Joshua fought seven rounds this year and 19 rounds last year.

That's 26 rounds in two years. Not seven.

Wishful thinking? I have no horse in this race I'm perfectly fine with Ruiz knocking him out again, Joshua has the boxing IQ of a banana but if Ruiz shows up out of shape then he won't be able to capitalize.

Logic tells you Joshua will try to keep it at distance and move his way to a decision. Ruiz needs footspeed and stamina to counteract that

He tried that in the first fight and it didnt work. I see no reason to believe it'll work in the rematch.

This is a cash out fight by Joshua and Hearn. The choice of venue proves to me they know they are getting ktfo' d. Doesn't matter if Ruiz only trains a month or two either.

Agreed, they could fight in Joshua's garden and AJ is still getting KTFO.

I'm shocked at this news about the champ Ruiz not training like he should, or at all for that matter. Maybe it's just a tactic to get fans and Team Joshua especially, to see Ruiz as the underdog again.
