Joseph is going to put it on him. When Joshua stands there like a robot reseting that right hand Joseph is going to jump all over him. Nothing against AJ but this is the night Joseph steps up a level. Thoughts?
That’s the difference between AJ and Wilder. Could you imagine Deontay making a weak concession like that? Further proof that Joshua is PETRIFIED AND SCARED STIFF by Wilder. He had already ACCEPTED that Wilder will hand him out an L lmfao!
Nah I don't think Joshua is scared of Wilder. And with two glass cannons, anything can happen. However, AJ needs to get past Parker and my feeling is that we get a competitive fight. It's possible Parker KTFO out of Joshua and vice versa but something tells me Joshua is not going to get into a firefight and win a boring UD.
I think Parker will be a tougher test than Wilder would be If Joshua can get past Parker, he can certainly beat Wilder. Wilder would be beaten by Joshua, Povetkin, Fury, and Parker But that said, I am picking Parker to upstage and beat Joshua. Late TKO
If Parker beats Joshua logically that's the year for the Unified champ. He'd have to rematch AJ and then we can get back to talking undisputed in 2019. That said, honestly, I'd rather see Parker-Wilder than Joshua-Wilder anyway. I'm 100% confident Wilder can floor Josh, but JP has never been hurt. In the fight against Ortiz I think Kong's chin gets underplayed. He took a lot of big shots before Wilder found the right kind to end him. The mystery of JP's chin they promoted this AJ fight is really more interesting against Wilder. If Joshua KOs Parker that'd restore some excitement to AJ-Wilder but anything short of a KO and it's clearly Wilder's division to win.
The culture in boxing these days seems to be that the possible consequence of going all out to win, i.e. taking sustained damage and/or being knocked out, is viewed as more of an ignominy than hedging your bets and settling for lasting the distance. We see the latter mentality so often now. I guess I understand why it's a thing. Guys are thinking about longevity, their lives after boxing, etc. It's humanly correct conduct, just not gladiatorially correct.
