Joshua, Hearn, and DAZN must be loving Fury right now

End of 2022 and Joshua was at a low, both in popularity and confidence. People were questioning DAZN's decision to tie him down to a long term deal as their franchise player.

Fast forward 18 months, and Joshua has rebuilt his confidence and every time Fury messes up it forces the Saudis to scramble to put a card together which Joshua gets to headline.

First it was Day of Reckoning, and now with Zhang v Parker on the undercard of Joshua v Ngannou and rumours of Hrgovic being given his pick of 6 opponents, yet again Joshua headlines a massive card. It looks like Fury's slip ups keep opening up the door to Joshua to walk on through.

Is Joshua, DAZN, and Hearn going to end 2024 back on top?

Hearn plan is to make Fury vs Joshua fight.
That's why they choose opponents from Fury resume to show how AJ beat them in better fashion.
That's make people want see this fight and making presure on Fury.

But I dont like this "chasing" Gypsy. They should focus on themself.
I understand that fight with Fury is biggest thread for Joshua now and they can feel that today Joshua can whoop his ass but still focusing on future where both got job to do and Fury can lost to Usyk is just silly.

Having Fury in mind/plans is very very dangerous.

Hope they dont writing scenario together with saudis behind Usyk/Ngannou and other backs...

Fury's a clown and a waste of time but AJ ain't worth getting excited about either. Hard to take him seriously after throwing a 5 year old tantrum after getting schooled by Usyk the 2nd time.

After Ngannou, maybe he could fight a more worthy opponent too.

Boxing fans are fickle and have extremely short memories. There were serious British boxing fans saying how great Wilder was for boxing and carries himself like a true champion in the run up to Day of Reckoning. WILDER!

I completely agree on the Ngannou fight btw. I'm also not ecstatic that the Saudis want to basically match Joshua with the winner of Usyk v Fury next either. But the point is the Saudis look happy to heavily invest in rebuilding Joshua and DAZN keep getting the broadcast rights. And Fury keeps forcing the Saudis to invest even more money into Joshua to cover for his antics. It couldn't be better for Hearn, Joshua, and DAZN if they scripted it themselves.

PBC are looking in from the outside putting questionable PPVs on Amazon prime. Sky and Boxxer are also being left out in the cold. American broadcasters HBO and Showtime have given up. So "DeadZone" looks like it may well have won the long game afterall

That's strange I thought I posted this to the British board, as it is a British interest topic. Could an admin perhaps move this across?
