Did he even throw a 1-2/ 1-1-2 the whole fight? Nope, he danced around clumsly with a pawing jab and talked to his trainer nonchalantly in the corner. Theres bad nights and theres bad nights ... this didnt look like either. Looked straight dodgy/fixed, even before and after the fight.
Yeah I think it was a script and was an arranged fight. Just can't comprehend the logic why.. IDK but just look at Joshua. He didn't make an effort at all, I mean he knew he had to lose and had to perform like an actor
Because DAZN need an American heavyweight star/attraction and Wilder wont fight on DAZN cause he knows it. Through Ruiz, they get a Mex/American one. Joshua/Hearn are heavily invested moneywise in DAZN, a lose makes Joshua so much richer through DAZN suscription success than toiling for US PPVs. Not to mention betting against yourself at 20/1 odds and a rematch/trilogy that will sell 10 times as much as another 2 US fights. Hands down the fix was in. No one disrespecting Ruiz, just calling out Hearn/Joshua fixing fights like Wilder/Haymon does.
Still trying to process what the hell happened. Ruiz is not that good and AJ, while chinny, is not that bad. Something was up, either AJ is so full of himself that got overwhelmed by the reality check in face of resistance or he gave 0 ****s about this whole thing. You don’t wink at someone in the audience after getting dropped the third time unless you’re and absolute jackass... or you don’t care for whatever reason.
AJ is overrated. The man also didnt deserve his gold medal. Hes the fabricated paper champion the Brits hold so dear.
Oh he will be more than ok, that bloke is smooth as hell. He called for the instant rematch in the UK on the spot and was already spinning the situation into a new narrative. After all he still as the belts withing is grasp.
Hearn deserves an Oscar then. Joshua knew he was beaten after the third round. You could see it when he threw a punch out of frustration and anger when the ref was breaking them. By the time the stoppage came he already accepted he was facing a better man.
Joshua was caught clean by several punches, its not like it was one punch,he was over extending and exposing his right side . Don't know about AJ but im sure Hearn took it the hardest . No way would they deliberately lose ........and a U.s debut which will hurt then in a minute even after Aj gets his belts back. UNLESS its a ploy to get wilder ? lol
