Joshua hinted after his media workout he would have came in heavier for Takam instead of Pulev, watching him you could tell he was thinking about it.Wont hinder him one bit.

Rofl your poor mother in law. I've seen you dish out more trash talk on her here than Tyson Fury on the world.

Imagine he gasses worse than he did against Klitschko, and with Takam he won't be hesitant if Joshua is on the ropes bouncing off of exhaustion.

I hope VADA will be taking note tomorrow. Is this bodybuilder Joshua, got Ronnie Coleman training him now? Somethings fishy with that physique...

people are reading to much into the weight factor

a few pounds lighter or heavier nothing to a 6.6 heavyweight

if you are in good shape weigh yourself first thing in the morning and then last thing at night and most people in will have a few lb differential in just 16 hours .

i dont think it will hurt or help its just the weight that he now is / he has problem throwing to many punches in 1 round and also the hype of the fight crowd might sap his nervous energy trying to look good ala whyte / but i expect a breazeale type pace and performance from aj and doing that biding his time he is not going to gas at all.

first 2 rounds feeling out then aj will establish a jab / takam will find it hard to get inside and play it safe on the outside until aj presses the button and goes for a ko.

im expecting a lewis v tua fight with the exception that takam does not have as good a chin as tua and gets stopped

    how early depends on takam
if he presees aj trying to win the fight IMO he will get countered by big uppercuts and combos if he plays it safe tries to set traps it will last a fair while with aj being forced to try and walk though takam to forrce a stoppage win.

IMO the weight will not be a factor in how the fight pans out.

That might work... if Takam was good enough to dictate the pace. Problem for him and every other HW out there is that he's improving each fight and was in large outboxing Wlad and dictating the pace and action. I don't think coming in 4lbs heavier will have any impact on the result.

Foreman liked to come into the ring big. Not sure that's gonna help Joshua though.

I think the Englishman has had a good run but I expect glass to shatter early tomorrow morning (my time).

The big Pommie will gas out early after rag-dolling his opponent for a few rounds with his body-builder's physique.

Takam will be all over him in the second half of the fight.

Too many people blowing smoke up gAy Jay's backside since the Klitschko win has lulled him into complacency.

Joshua might be looking to make a statement here and blast through Takam to put his nearest rivals in the shade, but it's a risky strategy that could backfire on him. I'd have played it safe and got the win since there's nothing on paper that Takam does that could trouble Joshua. Maybe he's looking beyond mere wins however, and thinking of long term legacy. Regardless, a blowout of Takam would send a massive statement to the rest of the division. It might even be enough to pierce through Wilder's bubble, though I wouldn't want to go that far.

I think some people are reading too much into the Wlad fight.

Wlad, whilst he isn’t a pressure fighter, does have an overbearing style, keeping fighters constantly on their heels. Couple that with the nervous energy that Joshua would have used, it was no surprise that he gassed.

I don’t think Takam presents such pressures, therefore Joshua will not exert himself as much. If it goes to the later rounds I still see Joshua outboxing him, before finishing him.
