I have asked this before with no answer do we even know if Johsua knows how to properly clinch or tie up if he gets hurt? Hard to tell from the pastry chefs he has been fighting that he has had his way with. Too many unanswered questions regarding Joshua.

I can only go by his Amatuer fights, where he usually fights toe to toe. But yeh i havent seen a great amount of defensive responsibility thus far in his professional career, but he did turn back to boxing when whyte rocked him.

Joshua obviously can KO Klitschko if he lands flush. Both fighters have the firepower to end this fight early. What I and many others want to know is does Joshua have the stamina to go 12 rounds at a decent pace? Can he go the distance if he needs to? How will he react when hit with a good punch will he be able to clinch or tie up and recover? Does he have a Plan B in a fight if things aren't going his way? All these little things matter when you are going up against a guy with as much experience as Klitschko has. To me it could go either way and is a 50/50 fight. We know what Wlad brings to the table but little is known about Joshua because he hasn't been tested yet at this level. How will he react?

Dont think wladimir is going to throw enough punches to keep Joshua off him. I dont think he can offload his punches quick enough or with enough confidence, stiff and cant pull the trigger. This klitchko isnt even if the one we saw vs Pulev, and pulev to be fair was defensively horrible. Joshua has a tighter guard then that, he has more than just a jab. i think its 70/30 in favour of Joshua.

One thing I have thought about especially since seeing a few of Wlad training video's is Wlad using the David Haye/Tyson Fury method of just hanging back or using movement and throwing as few punches as possible and winning a UD. When you land 6 punches and the other guy lands 2 or 4 you win.

I don't know mate. Looking back at Joshua in the Ams he was more of a boxer than a puncher. He won his gold medal boxing off the backfoot. But Wladimir is better at that than Joshua is. Wlad is also much harder to hit. The rangier, quicker handed Fury had trouble landing anything on Wlad.

If Joshua gets clipped then I see him holding on then resetting in the center of the ring and trying to box. For some reason I just can't see Joshua going into an all out war Holyfield style. I think this fight will be fought at a slower pace than everyone seems to be expecting.

Yeh i dont think wlad can implement that method. His dominance has come from The Jab, beating his opponent down with the jab, and grab, using his superior strength and size to lay on his opponent. I cant see Wlad being able to potshot joshua. His footwork is better going foward or neutral footwork, where he keeps in the centre and jab, jab, cross. He hasnt got the gas tank to do that especially at 41/

Aj should win early crowds roaring all that bull but if vlad gets through the early rnds has Joshua got a plan b? If vlad ties him up messes him about will he run out of ideas and puff?vlad hits hard late in fights Joshua has not been hit as hard in the pros could be interesting.

We can only speculate too many unknowns in this fight to call it for certain. I just hope we get at least a few good rounds before the conclusion that will make for a good fight and answer a few questions - about both guys...what does wlad have left in the tank? Is AJ just hype..how good can he box at this level...will he gas, how good is his chin etc etc.

This is in line with my opinion as well. Wlad will be cautious and force AJ to take the lead, which is something he is not comfortable with. AJ likes his opponents to give him counter punching opportunities, something Wlad won't do. Youth may be on Joshua's side but it is the style of Wlad that will give him trouble and ultimately make for a less exciting fight than people think.

based on wlads last 2 fights its hard to pick him to win.

i do believe wlad is very motivated but he has been inactive and for some thats a big deal others not we will see how it effects wlad

gotta pick aj to win this
