Vlad totally outclassed Joshua in sparring not too long ago, how much has Joshua improved and how much has Vlad gone down hill? Camerelle out boxed Joshua in the Olympics, lost only because of home cooking.............and if Whyte can stagger Joshua, Vlad will murder him.................if Vlad lands a punch on Joshua, Joshua will be in some real trouble.....................Vlad has been looking fantastic in training, in really good shape, Vlad can go 12 rounds without any trouble, he has been working a lot on head movement, his defense is superior to Joshua's, he has more combinations than Joshua, Vlad has a killer right hand, but don't forget about his left hook, power jab, hook of the jab, and (secret) Vlad can fight on the inside if need be, I have seen him land a few body punches as well, Vlad has been using a lot of lateral movement, angles, he has the balance, and if you watch the Shufford fight in Vegas, you will see Vlad land the shortest left hook I have ever seen.........it was incredible...............so Joshua needs to watch out for more than the one-two.....................Vitali said that if Vlad is focused, the fight will be easy................Joshua has a rematch clause, so if he does lose, he gets a huge big money rematch, so he does not have anything to lose....................Vlad will be, by far, the best fighter Joshua has ever been in the ring with. Do Not pay any attention to the Fury fight, Vlad was not interested in that fight, Fury could hardly land a punch on Vlad, but Vlad just did not throw any punches, if he had, he would have knocked Fury out, Fury knew he would get knocked out in the rematch. It's good to see Vlad up for this fight, I think we might see the best of Vlad, a fighter we have not seen in a while, don't think he has the personal problems he had then.......................I very cautiously pick Vlad to win by TKO or KO.........................Vlad is quicker, but everyone does not realize that Vlad has a ton of power and knows how to land it................he is more relaxed in the ring than Joshua, that is the unknown that could very well come out in this fight, then we will get to see them fight again.................

The times I've seen Joshua hurt, he's shown a tendency to statue up. That's a horrible trait to have against an accurate puncher like Wlad.

Would Wlad have the stomach to go in for the kill? Would AJ fight offensively enough to create an opening to get hurt in the first place?

AJ fought cautiously against Breazeale for goodness sake. Is he really going to go after Klitschko? The same applies to Klitschko, he was as cautious as he's ever been vs Fury, he just didn't have the distance to outpoint him.

My gut feeling is it'll be a hugely cautious battle of the jabs and end in a close decision. It wont be as ugly as the Fury fight, but every bit as boring. Neither will hurt the other but in the event someone does get stung, the other wont capitalise for fear of retaliation.

To play devil's advocate - AJ fights offensively in the knowledge there's a rematch clause if he gets caught, goes for gold. Takes chances and makes it a fight. Klitschko's then forced to engage and decides it's do or die and we end up with a fight in the vein of Lennox/Vitali, Manny would be proud. :angel2:

Which of those 2 outcomes sounds more realistic?

AJ isn't going to risk a bad KO loss just because they can do it again and Klitschko isn't going to go out with a bang because it's just not in him.

    Could be wrong.

When AJ beat your boy Wlad, will you give him credit or use the "old man" excuse?

I am not gonna count Wlad out in this one. Wisdom is like having another skillset that can't be anticipated by your opponent. Wlad might do a George Foreman.

This kinda rings true. I was thinking it would be a blowout one way or another at first. But now I'm wondering if it might be the opposite. Wilder Stiverne also seemed an obvious fight to end in ko one way or the other, and look what happened there. This might be the same.

Floyd fanboy? Go find posts where I'm a Floyd fan boy, bonehead. Where I use (validate) that stupid acronym that actual fanbois try to use as part of their agenda to get his name in the conversation with guys that are referred to as GOAT. Me a Floyd fanboy? Try again.

I dont think the issue is Wlad having the stomach to go for the kill. If it's there he'll take it.

I couldn't have been more wrong. I'm happy to be be wrong though.

Very good fight, just what you want from the best fighting the best. Looked like Joshua had him, then it looked like Klitschko had him. Brilliant stuff.

Not pretty, but exactly why this sport is the best in the world. Electric.

Well The Old Boy still got fight in him! what a great fight, and wlads most entertaining. Big props to both men. AJ showed a great heart, chin and fighting spirit. Needs to work on footwork big time as i covered and stamina.
