Most of the guys Joyce has faced were old. The best guys hes beat Takam Stiverne etc were in their 40s and shot to pieces. Hardly examples of fighters in their primes are they?

The only young one hes faced was dubois and Dubois could have beaten him if he moved his head more. Joyce is slow.

Anyone with speed and movement will trouble him as Usyk and Jennings proved. Joyce struggled against Jennings and got rocked with a body shot. It might be wise for aj to invest in body shots against joyce as he seems vulnerable there.

I see the fight going the same way as joshua ruiz 2

Dubois should have moved his head more? Same as every exposed hype job that gets stopped.

Ignoring as others have pointed out the rematch clauses, and WBO going to back of the queue. Wouldn't Joyce have to actually beat someone to become the mandatory?

Joshua would turn Joyce to mince meat. A big slow goof that is wide open for any shot you care to throw at him. Tailor made.

Fury, Usyk and even Wilder are much bigger challenges.

Would root for Joyce if that matchup ever occurred, but it's obvious that Joshua is a very bad matchup for him.

LOL Everybody is dumping on the 3rd Fury/Wilder fight. There could be a 4th if Wilder pulls off the upset. That would be funnier than hell. I bet the Fury fanboys won't be crying about a rematch with Wilder then.

I'd be really, really surprised if there was... Big if, but if Wilder pulls off that upset he'll claim he won the first and refuse any offers of a 4th - I'm not even sure Fury would want it at that point either TBH.

It's probably for the best. After Fury pulls out of the fight in a couple of weeks, TysonFuryGoat would have to answer a lot of questions haha

People made the same assumption about Wilder wanting the 3rd fight. Now, it's happening. Money talks. If Fury wants a 4th fight, along with his fans, I believe they could come up with enough money to pique Wilder's interest. Like you said, Wilder winning is a big if. Hope he pulls it off.

That’s what they said about usyk but he’s fighting him next.

AJ will fight anyone as long as the price is right

I would imagine the decline in interest between 2 and 3 probably puts paid to the idea of 4 being viable?

Still, fortunately it's a big if (I'm no a massive Fury fan but it seems to me that in a sporting sense it's only just for Fury to win, given the slightly dubious scoring in #1)... If Wilder wins then so be it, but given his questionable first run with the belt I can't find any reason to be excited about the prospect of a Wilder win (the contrarian in me might find it funny for a few minutes before sanity takes over, granted).

And Fury holding the belt would be any better? He got the belt, went out for almost 3 years, fought 2 nobodies and Wilder twice. Terrible championship run. Saying you'd rather see Fury win because Wilder's run as champ was bad, is a tad hypocritcle.
