    It was a lovely bit of timing though? Wilder has flaws and can look clumsy and uncoordinated at times but he throws a sweet right hand.

    I think Wilder's athleticism, power and stamina are a big test for AJ. At times in the Ortiz fight he looked like he doesn't belong at the level, but boxing is about finding a way and he's done that when under pressure. I liked someone's comment on the Badlefthook blog which said that Wilder would be AJ's Phys Ed graduation test and Fury his Technical equivalent.

    I think based on what I've seen of them if they boxed 10 times I'd back AJ to win 7 of them based on superior ability and an edge in strength. If AJ boxes to his ability, maintains his focus and get the right balance of aggression and control he will beat Deontay, but he could do all of the above, thoroughly outbox him and still lose if Wilder gets lucky with that right hand.
