WBA lightweight champion of the world Vasyl Lomachenko has named his top-5 current P4P fighters. Lomachenko, who is widely considered as the best P4P boxer in the world, didn't include himself in this rating.

    Lomachenko's op-5 P4P list looks this way:

    5. Errol Spece Jr.

    4. Saul Alvarez

    3. Anthony Joshua

    2. Oleksandr Usyk

    1. Terence Crawford

He was there at Wembly last week. He is probably factoring in the Matchroom production on an AJ night into the equation.

Yeah, it might be something like that, because Loma was not 100% logical. Because, for example, the next question was (https://media.acast.com/skysportsto...viewsfromanthonyjoshuaandtonybellew/media.mp3) "Who's the best heavyweight in your opinion?" and Lomachenko was like "well, I'm not sure". It doesn't make sense — if one considers AJ top3 p4p and is asked about the best heavyweight, the (logical) answer should be "Joshua, of course".

Perhaps he thinks a fully up to speed Fury is the best or his boy Usyk when he makes the jump.

    Joshua's style is not a P4P style.

Imagine that style vs someone like Pacquaio and Joshua would not make it out of the round if they were the same size.

P4P means if they were ALL the same size and weight class, who would be the best fighter.

Whichever way you slice it, Loma comes out on top.

Do not disagree but that is still one interpretation. Some people base the list on how dominant the No1/champion of the division is in boxing. It's the reason why WK was on the list for so long, the opposition he fought wasn't all that great but he was dominant. Same thing with Broner at 130 and 135 he was in the top 10 when really he probably shouldn't have been.

Who knows. Mystery. Maybe they should fight so we know who is currently the better boxer.
