Yeah Hearn did say Wlads experience worrys him, just depends what Wlad is like now it's not that long ago Wlad was knocking folk out in sparring.
I wouldn't say Joshua is perfect for Wlad, far from it, Joshua has a chance even if you only think it's a punchers chance. A perfect opponent for Wlad would be someone like Byrd, no power, smaller, forced to come to him, prefers to let his opponent lead. Now Joshua isn't a bad style match up for Wlad like Fury was with his height and movement but he isn't a risk free fight for Wlad. It's a risky fight for both but it' a calculated risk. Joshua and Hearn are betting on Wlad being to passed his best and vulnerable due to his inactivity while Wlad is betting on the sudden big step up in class being too much and that this step up in class is coming too soon for Joshua. Joshua is going to look to be aggressive, he won't sit back like Byrd would do and let Wlad lead and then clinch any counter. He'll be trying to force Wlad back, he'll match Wlad in size and I think if Joshua commits to the jab he can out jab Wlad, who's jab hasn't looked good for a while. Joshua obviously has more than enough power to KO Wlad as well and he's physically strong enough not to be manhandled too badly in the clinches like Povetkin was.
Maybe he doesn't hit as hard as Haye but I reckon he hits harder than Povetkin,I respect your views on fights and scoring fights more than anyone but in the case of Joshua I think you let your dislike of him being hyped cloud your judgement,I'll be interested to know what the media and ex heavyweights like Lennox have to say as he thought AJ wouldn't stand a chance against Fury if they fought?
