Joshua is really underrated, hes gonna smash Parker quite easily

Joshua will not "easily smash" Parker in any way. AJ had his hands full with Takam, and Parker beat Takam, although perhaps with more difficulty. While I favour AJ, Parker is a very live underdog and Joshua simply cannot afford to come in muscle-bloated and gas mid-rounds. If AJ gasses, Parker might just settle his hash.

Garbage post number 2 of 2018....

Joshua is 6'6 and is not a swarmer. He gages from jab distance but keeps it mid range with explosive spurts.

This will not effect his development for a minute and will improve well beyond 2020 as most big SHW's do you in well into their 30's idiot.

Joshua the bully relies on counter puncher not power, he throws a lot of power shots that are set up a lot with also combination punching and he is the least hit aggressive fighter in the HW division BC he's actually HARD to land flush on.....

My guess going by your posts on here is you were picked on in school and every post almost has a " I was picked on " vibe to it?

Thus having to mention size and muscles as the reason for not liking Joshua besides your lame attempts at race baiting on here... :sisi2:

Spurts which cause him to completely empty his tank after 5-6 rounds.

Your second paragraph, if I can even call it that, is contradictory drivel that I can't even be bothered to correct you on

Someone who believes that racism means attacking a religion, really isn't fit for purpose in having any type of in depth discussion with.

Like I told you before, you're on the level of the likes of Herolgee and Dinovelvert in terms of posting quality and intelligence - incapable of reason and coherence. The types who live in another make believe world, where theories and interpretations do not have to tie in with reality at all.

Fiction posters is what we call them.

Out of the heavyweights, especially these giant ones, I'd say Joshua is one of the better inside fighters. I think Parkers only hope here is a war of attrition as he wont win the battle of the jabs and cant really fight inside either. I think Parker needs to make Joshua work while avoiding punishment himself and try and get the fight into the second half and hope he himself has enough of a gas tank to do a number on him. I just don't see it happening though, Parkers stamina isn't great either and I don't think he has the crushing power required to stop Joshua, who took a few monster Klitschko shots and somehow managed to survive.

    I suspect you are correct.

Parker is the down-under Martin. :D

Actually... Wlad 'wouldnt' destroy every heavy. He couldnt destroy Jennings (a jennings that Ortiz would go on to actually destroy), and he was convincingly beaten by Fury.

So Wlad was outboxed by Fury, knocked out by AJ, and couldnt destroy Jennings.

I have no reason to believe that Wlad could 'destroy' Ortiz either.

So again no Wlad doesnt destroy the division.

AJ's lack of conditioning makes him vulnerable in every fight hes in, in my opinion.

That all being said, I will be rooting for him to destroy Parker. And he should stop him late.

Perhaps with more difficulty? Perhaps ?

Parker shaded his fight with Takham by a round or two and both had very similar punch success , Joshua punished Takham constantly throughout and landed 3 to 1 on Takham . Perhaps is bs

I think so too, that Joshua will win without too much trouble, but I dont feel like he is underrated. But I wonder if I am personally underrating Parker though, as I dont think too highly of him. Havent seen much of him, some highlights video and one fight that I dont remember who he was against and then his fight against Hughie Fury, I was not too impressed. That being said, I dont know much about him. He is undefeated after all and might be waaay better than I think of him. But I wont speculate too much as I dont know **** about boxing, i'll just let the fight happen and make conclusions after that. I just hope it will be a good fight, no matter who wins

Joshua can't fight inside. But Joshua will go inside to try to land. I dont believe that Parker can win, but I really don't think that Joshua is good at all and I'm not trying to be funny. He has a flair for throwing punches, but he has too many flaws for me to say that he's good.

Joshua isn't underrated. He's rated pretty fairly right now, outside of those fanboys that already consider him an ATG.

If anyone's underrated it's Parker, which isn't to say that he'll win, but he likely won't be blown away either. Unfortunately he just does everything that little bit worse than Joshua, and moreover fights in a way that plays right into Joshua's biggest strengths. I'd also rate his ring IQ as inferior to Joshua's, though he's a lot harder to hit cleanly than a lot of people seem to think.

His limitations show up most readily against counter punchers and come forward fighters, both of which tend to make him break down stylistically. Joshua can fight both ways, and can box on the outside as well, which really doesn't give Parker that many options. Where Parker has the greatest opportunities are if Joshua loses his focus and lets Parker into his wheelhouse, as Joe has a noticeable handspeed advantage there where his short arms can deliver some stunning blows in rapid succession.

He also needs to be careful not to overextend himself or gas himself out, as Parker is one of the more dangerous guys to fight while hurt and/or tired.

That being said I think Parker is rather ordinary from what I've seen. I'm hoping it's a good fight.... could you imagine if he KO's Joshua NZ would have the heavyweight champion.. would a rematch happen there and what time would it be on tv :)

Parker's pretty good, and easily top five in the division, but he has a number of limitations that make him beatable by those with the right style/tactics.

Pros: he's got blistering handspeed and pretty good power, a solid chin, good stamina, and plenty of heart. He also has great natural athleticism, which allows him to keep his composure and maintain his technique late into the fight. Underrated defence as well.

Cons: he often fights with a very predictable rhythm, has trouble with spoilers, and has major vulnerabilities to counter punchers. He tends to go back in straight lines when pressured and cannot punch well off the backfoot, which means he can be shut down for long stretches by fighters who can keep him from setting his feet.

He's already beaten Takam, Ruiz and Fury, and would beat the brakes off Whyte and Breazeale. He'd likely beat Pulev and probably beat Wilder IMO. Povetkin and Ortiz are toss ups and Joshua would beat him. That's where I think he stands in the division at the moment.
