Bob Arum has predicted Parker to win, and Arum is on a rich vein of form for his predictions this year. So far he's 37-4.

If Parker has that speed, moves well, he has a chance against Joshua, but Joshua will own the judges, referee, and boxing commission! If Joshua lands a jab, his referee will stop it. Take a look at the Takam fight. Hope this fight has neutral judges, referee, but doubt it.....................

    Speed, movement and power

That is what Parker has in spades

That’s just it with Parker, few years ago he had this rep but it’s been tarnished somewhat with point wins over Ruiz,Takam n Furey, clearly his power isn’t all that and if his speed was truly fast it would make up for power anyway.
    Joshua is quick enough

For his last 4 or 5 fights, Parker has bulked up 10 -20 pounds, its taken the edge off his speed, and thus power and movement which made him such an outstanding prospect. Parker at 240+ is too big and fat, is he gets back down to 225-235, like he used to, he'll give AJ a real good fight and be as good a chance at beating him as anyone.

i have learnt recently on esb threads that joshua is
    a bodybuilding hulk
    getting to thin
    way too slow
    gasses to quick
    china chinned
    a dimetrenko type timber
    has no mobility

    and parker is a 6 to 1 underdog ?

Parker is fast and I'm sure that speed will pose issues for AJ. But even if he does nail him he doesn't seem to have the power at this level to take guys out with single shots, If Wlad's flush right hand and numerous follow up shots couldn't stop Joshua, Parker doesn't have much hope of a KO, unless he breaks down Joshua gradually over many rounds and that kind of pressure required doesn't seem to be the plan from team Parker.

Parker seems to be coming in light and using speed and movement to take the fight late and perhaps stop a gassed Joshua. That's a sound plan and the plan everyone thinks is the best way to beat Joshua. Wlad probably thought that was the best plan too when he left him off the hook in those middle rounds, he expected to be the one to finish stronger but he was obviously wrong.

The decision Parker must make late is "if" the fight goes late, does he keep moving and hope Joshua doesn't get a 2nd wind and KO him late like AJ did vs Wlad or press Joshua more and not allow Joshua to fight at a comfortable pace, preventing him from gaining a 2nd wind but of course by doing so risking Joshua catching him.

Personally I don't think Parker has the boxing skills to out box Joshua like he thinks he can. He has the tools but not the know how to pull off this plan. Joshua will counter him when Parker leads, Joshua will be the one dictating the pace and be the one pressing. Best case scenario for Parker is he does a bit better than Takam, has some success early but eventually learns he can't mount much of an offence without getting hit hard and ends up losing the fight on points.

Like I have been saying, BB

Everyone will be shocked at how Parker forces AJ onto the back foot

and brings speed and power to bear, dominating the fight

People cannot comprehend it, but I see it very clearly

Try watching Parker's fights for awhile

    then watch Joshua

It is astounding the difference in speed and mobility

Parker coming in a lot lighter is bad news for Joshua.

However, this is providing Joshua himself doesn’t shift a lot of weight.

I’m sure that if you look at Joshua before he ballooned to around the 250 mark, he himself was a completely different animal.

I could see Parker's speed and aggression being an issue for Wilder who is tentative when up against a lively opponent but Joshua isn't afraid to stand and trade, he's pretty calm when under fire and pretty adept at blocking shots and firing back. If Parker tries and back up Joshua he's in for a rude awakening. Takam was able to back up Parker but got on his bike vs Joshua, he realised Joshua was much better on the inside than Parker and had more power, he couldn't do the same things he did vs Parker against Joshua.

If Parker couldn't compete with Takam on the inside and Takam couldn't do the same vs Joshua, there's no hope in hell Parker can back Joshua up. Parker himself knows this, hence why he's coming in light and going to be using movement. If he finds himself trading with Joshua, Parker will get KO'ed.
