I do agree with you 100% he needs to come in lighter than his last 3 fights, but aj seems to have learnt the same lesson as parker and is trying to come in lighter than his last 2 fights so it may negate Parker’s advantage slightly if aj is lighter.

Of course he has to have faster hands with that 72.5 inch reach according to the clip you're showing. Especially on the inside 72.5 inches are lethal.

The problem with most "experts" is they judge Parker on his last 3 fights

The most "whacked" opponents of his whole career - ones he had no choice in

Now he is back to fighting the guys he chooses. AJ is in for a world of surprise....

Yes, but here's the thing, AJ gasses. Happened against Whyte, Klitschko and Takam. He even looked a bit tired against Breazeale. He uses a lot of energy early to try and get his opponent out of there and doesn't like going long hard rounds, as whenever he does, he gasses. Parker has gone 12 rounds in 4 fights against very solid opposition, at a high weight. Team Parker know their strategy, keep him very busy and moving early on, when he starts sucking, go in for the kill. AJ is obviously the favourite, but I give Parker a much better chance than most.

I'm not sold on Parkers chin. I think he's in way over his head, and Andy Ruiz should be fighting Joshua for the Wbo title. This is gonna end up like the Charles Martin fight if the bodybuilder is coming in at the mid 240s.

He has learned the hard way from it. He is coming in lighter this time. Joshua is hitting his prime right now.

If Parker can be quick and show good movement and defence then he is in this fight for the full 12 rounds.

People are forgetting that Parker has the Somoan style Tua chin going on, and AJ isnt just going to knock him out unless he takes a suicidal head first approach. So there will be parts of AJs game tested in this fight that have never been tested before.

He will force AJ on the back foot if he actually throws combinations. Not 1-2s.
If Parker throws 4+ punch combos and ties AJ up then he has a real chance.

To me that's the key to win, not speed or movement, I mean it's kind of a given he needs to move.

He really only gasses when he's pressed. Getting tired as the fight progresses isn't quite gassing. I would say that he only legitimately gassed against Wlad, as Wlad dictated the pace for most of the fight.

Against Breazeale, I thought he was fresh, and could comfortably have gone the 12 rounds, and then some. Parkers worst enemy will be letting Joshua dictate the pace, as Joshua won't gas, like some think. Parker needs to be on him. I'm not saying that he needs to be all guns blazing, but if his plan is to take him into deepwater, he needs to make sure Joshua has been fighting at an uncomfortable pace when he gets there.

Parker looks fast next to 2nd rate guys like a 45 year old Botha. He didn't look fast against Takham. I don't think he will have a major speed advantage vs. AJ, especially not after he has to bridge a range gap.

Against Fury he was having to lunge, but a lot of that was down to Fury's approach. There's surely no denying that Joshua looks considerably slower at around 250. Hopefully he's lost some of the weight, as at around 240 I considered Joshua a fast pusher (for a heavyweight), with vicious combinations.

Not according to Takam; "Joseph Parker, the guy has speed, a lot of speed...his speed is faster than Joshua". Parker has bulked up too much his last 4 fights, its taken the edge off his power, speed and mobility, his own team admits this. If he comes in 225-235, he'll be back to his best. IMO Parker and Andy Ruiz got the best hand speed relative to punch output in the division.

Parker is really nothing special and AJ’s power is no joke, he will find this out and look to survive
