Joshua James Pagán vs. Maliek Dawnell Montgomery

Headlining a card at Coliseíto Pedrín Zorrilla in Municipio de San Juan, airing live on DAZN on Thursday night (October 23rd). Ten rounds at lightweight, for the vacant WBO NABO title.

Pagán, a 25 year old boricua born and raised in Grand Rapids, MI, has amassed a 13-0 record professionally but his biggest step up to date has been a shutout UD over Haskell Lydell "Hackman" Rhodes Jr.

Montgomery is a 30 year old with an equally uninspiring 20-1 (18) mark - the loss coming to Jeremy "Zereaux" Hill last year and his best pro wins coming over ran-through journeymen César "El Corazón" Juárez and Óscar "El Guerrero" Escandón. He had a much more accomplished amateur career than Pagán, however - with a National Golden Gloves championship to his credit, and a pair of close SD losses to Teófimo López and victories over the likes of Edgar Berlanga, William Foster III, Joseph Adorno, Abel Mendoza, Bruce Carrington x3, and Albert Bell.

Based on their form in those most recent matches, I'd say it's 50-50. They're both pretty flawed.
